I always place them in before my bath or shower and set the unit at 30 mins since I like my towels very warm. The scent holder is a bonus as my towels smell really good when I pull them out of the unit. The company contacted me about 6 weeks after my purchase and sent me a free towel just because I purchased this unit. I am planning on purchasing 2 more for Christmas presents for my adult kiddos. This was an inspired buy and worth every penny. I have never had an issue with it working as I read about in a few reviews. This keeps towels and baby clothes perfectly warm, without being too hot. It's great to get out of the bath and wrap up in a warm towel. My toddler loves this! I do wish it had temperature options so I can make towels warmer for me and cooler for my toddler, but the temperature it's set to seem to be perfect.

Warmer is okay, it takes longer to warm up a towel, close to 30 minutes. I had another towel warmer that was much faster. This warmer I guess does the job.
