I do have a very tall 6 month old but this is too small for tummy time. What it's great for is putting under her bouncy swing that hangs in the doorframe so she can stomp on it. She loves it for that. It's heavy when filled with water so filling it up and moving it through the house isn't easy. But it seems well made and not at risk for leaking. So I had actually had one of these for my daughter when she was a baby and she loved it. She's now 31 so when I saw this I had to get one for my granddaughter. I liked that it was a good sensory toy for my kid BUT it came with no instructions on how to fill it up properly and if you aren’t mindful to change the water as necessary or if you don’t put vinegar in the water, it molds quickly!

The mat keeps the baby cool due to the water underneath. Just be careful to not place too much weight on the mat because it can create holes and deflate. The activity mat keeps the baby entertained and they love it.
