  • Very comfortable
Size: Medium Color: Navy Blue*2/Black*2/Dark Gray*2- E - 6 Pack
I bought a bunch of ‘pouch’ underwear to try and see which one would work best for me. Basically, i needed my privates separate from my thighs and body during the summer months or when working out. This brand came out as the winner. I have to admit that the design is awkward at first. But give it a chance and you will see that they are very comfortable even while working out. They basically separate your twig and berries using a soft and breathable fabric. I like the flap for quick and easy access to go number 1. I will get some more eventually and phase out the rest of my old underwear. ... show more

  • Happy I took a chance with these
Size: Medium Color: Black/Dark Gray/Navy Blue- a - 3 Pack
I'm not one to put much stock in spending loads of cash on clothes, and this rings especially true when it comes to clothes few will see like underwear. I've been more than content most of my life buying bulk packs of Hanes and calling it a day. Having lost a bit of weight and looking through a drawer of worn out boxer briefs, I of course first went back to Hanes and ordered as close to what I'd been using for ages again. 5 or 6 for $15 and I was thrilled. However, when they arrived, I found them too tight, too coarse and overall uncomfortable, so I decided to throw a search and Amazon and see what stuck. That's how I landed here. To be honest, I didn't fully grasp how these briefs would be laid out regarding the two pouch system (I think some of the products have better interior images now though). Still intrigued by the idea of the separation and reduced sweat and adjustments, I took the gamble. I had seen other, similar briefs advertised on TV for much more in cost, so I liked the idea, but I didn't like the idea of $10 a pair! I'd have to be rather impressed with these to stick with them... ...and impressed I have been. These are surprisingly soft and comfortable and if you order the right size and give them a chance, I think you'll find they're worth the purchase. I did have a bit of trouble, if you can call it that, starting with these. To wear them, you're essentially starting your morning inserting yourself into a soft, tight hole of fabric and you can imagine where that might lead during your inaugural run. Settle down and figure it out though and they sit comfortable. Once I got over the initial excitement/awkwardness of this change in style, I was able to finally find that 'feels like I'm not wearing anything' that many other reviewers mentioned. If you get comfortable with wearing them and situated right, it really does seem to fade away. These are snug enough to support but soft enough to remain comfortable to wear at lengths...and provide room to give if your member decides it needs to stretch its own legs... I've since purchased other models of Separatec briefs and seem to enjoy them all relatively equally. I like this set the most though, perhaps in part because I've had it the longest, but I also like the subdued branding on the waistband; some of the other models have outright obnoxious branding on them that I think should be reigned in a bit (full, bold, white lettering for high contrast). Cons? With this type of setup, I imagine length may come into play for some folks. I'm happy with what I've got and I seldom have issues, but I do find on rare occasion (and more so with the micro modal pairs I have), that bending and moving in certain ways that will pull your junk back may cause it to fall out of the support holster you get with these. The few times that happens is far easier to deal with than the regular adjusting that came with older pairs of briefs though. The only other qualm I have with these underwear lines in general is that the primary pouch has a seam right down the middle that is usually avoided when you dress left or right with your equipment, but if it happens to rub down the center, it can be irritating on that sensitive opening. Doesn't happen often and when it does, it's almost always while getting dressed, but it does prompt a quick readjustment. Would be nice if they could somehow craft these without that seam, but I'm no fabric wizard so I don't know if that's asking too much. Other thoughts? I don't much about babying clothes when it comes to laundry, but I've taken to not drying these. Not sure if that's necessary, but I figure air drying them will keep them together longer. In short, I've spent more on underwear with Seperatec in the past 6 months than I probably have in over a decade, and I'm happy to have found them. I've also had some brief contact with their customer service and have found them to be responsive and attentive. I'll be sticking with them for as long as they're around. ... show more

  • My quest for the perfect underwear has ended
Size: Medium Color: Black- C - 3 Pack
MY QUEST My old underwear seriously needed replacement. I figured that now was a good time to look at updated styles. Thus began my quest for the “perfect” underwear. RESEARCH AND RESEARCH CRITERIA I read countless reviews on other products before deciding to purchase these. I looked at Sheath, David Archy, Band of Thieves, Bamboo Cool, just to name of few. I even took a look at Tani, but I don’t think that was ever seriously on the table because I’m not about to spend upwards of $45 for ONE pair of underwear. My research criteeria was comfort, durability, fit for my personal body type, price, and day-to-day wear when walking, standing, sitting, etc. A minor consideration was appearance. COMFORT The first thing that steered me to try these was the incredible reviews about the softness of this product’s bamboo fabric. I was curious about the hype of bamboo fabric. Believe me, I was not disappointed. These Separatec are softest underwear I have ever worn. DURABILITY That leads me to my next criteria: Durability. I noticed that Bamboo Cool repeatedly had men complaining that their Bamboo Cool brand fell apart after several washings (and they posted pictures to prove it). Men reviewing Separatec repeatedly remarked that their experience on durability was excellent. I noticed that after my wife washed these boxer briefs for the first time, they looked exactly like they did when I took them out of the box. FIT Of course, every body type is different. For me, the size medium is true to size and as expected. Logistically, there is definitely a learning curve (please pardon the pun). However, for me, once I got accustomed to the pouch technology, the excellent comfort was undeniable. An interesting comment my wife made is that shopping for the right fit for men’s underwear seems be getting as complicated as shopping for the right fit for a woman’s bra. PRICE Yes, these are a little steep compared to Hanes, etc. However, for me, it’s worth it. Sheath brand has similar technology, but they are more expensive. Men rave about Tani’s Swiss supima cotton, but there is no way I’m going to spend $45 for ONE pair of underwear (moreover, some men said they were just “meh”.) DAY-TO-DAY WEAR As for day-to-day wear, my experience is that these boxer briefs remain comfortable no matter what position I’m in. I want to mention that I have also tried a new Separatec product, the Cool Dry Sport Performance Underwear 8” Boxer Briefs which are also sold here on Amazon. These excel when it comes to athletics, hot weather, or any physical labor where you tend to get sweaty and need a quick-drying fabric. APPEARANCE My taste is very conservative. I purchased these boxer briefs in black with two subtle “racing stripes” on either leg (red, green and blue). My wife likes the way they look and that’s good enough for me. FINAL THOUGHTS It’s pretty hard to ignore the fact that this product has, as of October 19, 2021, nearly 6,500 reviews and 4 1/2 stars. If the pouch technology and bamboo softness sound good to you, than you might find these to be a good fit. I certainly was not disappointed. UPDATE 6/11/23: Just a quick tip: If you are concerned about the seam of the waist band tearing, do not pull up this underwear by the waist band. As a rule, that’s a good idea for any “stretchy” type underwear. ... show more

  • The intended pouch is a little small
Size: X-Large Color: Black/Dark Gray/Navy Blue- a - 3 Pack
Bought these for my husband because he chafes during exercise. However, he feels the intended pouch is a little small and confining. It needs to be a little more roomy. He hasn't worn them very much.

  • They're okay..
Size: Medium Color: Black/Dark Gray/Navy Blue- a - 3 Pack
It's not a bad product. I kind of like the banana pouch, but the wording, "dual pouch" lead me to believe that there was a banana pouch, AND a pouch for the eggs. The egg pouch isn't really a pouch, it's just kind of a recessed area. I was hoping for a pouch that enveloped them, and kept them from sticking to my legs. That's why I bought them. Again, they're soft and comfy, but not what I'd hoped for. ... show more

  • Room for an elephant trunk
Size: X-Large Color: Navy Blue/Maroon/Olive Green - 3 Pack
Very comfortable. Fits the thighs perfectly. I'll be frank; the pouch is very generous in size. If you are packing an elephant truck for your junk, these are perfect. But if you have a human penis, the front may be a little roomy. The support is still great.
