Description

The all-new Impulse is a modular smart helmet featuring Senas industry-leading Mesh Intercom and Bluetooth Intercom technology plus premium speakers and microphone by the audio professionals at Harman Kardon. The Impulses expertly tuned speakers bring a new level of precision and clarity to in-helmet audio plus an all-new microphone for unprecedented outbound audio quality. The helmet boasts an integrated rear-facing tail light for rider visibility as well as a convenient retractable sun visor. Impulse was built with a DOT-rated composite fiberglass shell and has an intermediate oval fitment. Four strategically placed vents, a chin vent, top vent, and two exhaust vents allow for airflow while riding.

The media could not be loaded. I am not that technical, all I wanted was a modular helmet with Bluetooth built in. I saw so many videos of best helmets and none of them had Sena as a safest helmet. Most of the videos talks about ece or dot endorsements which I don’t understand how it applies if you get in accident at 80mph. I mean I rode almost every weekend for like 100-200 miles. I am cruising not zig zag or driving faster then my soul so this helmet was perfect fit. I like Sena technologies and I had savage helmet before which I like it too. In the end its your preference. Did not buy this helmet on here but here is my opinion on it. The buttons are hard to function with full finger gloves. I find no use for the Mess intercom system and really don't know of many people who do. The mess button is the only button that's easy to turn on but hard to figure how to turn it off. I have used Sena products for a few years now and have had no real issues with them and the only real issues I have with this helmet is the buttons, the Mess system and the visor slide, other than that the helmet and the intercom and mic work really well. ... show more

Love using helmet with Sena functionality, but do research beforehand. Uses a proprietary cable that you can't find anywhere to buy as backup. Helmet will not update firmware with app and PC or with wifi direct. Support is glib and sends you back to website. Hoped after few months would update app or phone app would clear up issues. Not so. Build PCs and light programming experience and many others with same experience and issues. In past if I can't get to work it's broken .... If phone App updates and the app won't work with outdated firmware you have just a moderately expensive silent brain bucket for the future. Have already had to cleared app cache few times to reconnect phone app to helmet which keeps dropping and losing connection latell. Lose or your proprietary cable quits working it results in the same situation as can't find a replacement to buy..... Read reviews before decide will find similar postings .... Looking at Cardo self contained unit version in future as better weather proofed than Sena. Don't group ride as much so if do that would do Sena self contained unit potentially as run into more groups using Sena for now.... ... show more
