Our guest bath has plain white 6x6 tiles - rather boring. I thought I would try these decals but given some reviews and fact that they were so inexpensive, I wasn't expecting much. I was wrong. The decals are beautiful and quite thick and substantial. The adhesive is amazing and they even have a clear film over the top (to prevent scratching during installation) that can be removed once the decal is adhered. They fit perfectly on a 6x6 tile - leaving exposed grout all around and conforming to the shape of the tile (beveled edges). Even up close, it is almost impossible to distinguish the decal from a real ceramic tile. I used a small piece of tape to tape them up before installing. I wanted to ensure that I liked the way the pattern flowed. I had NO PROBLEM adhering them to the tile. I started at the top of each tile, removing about 1/2" of backing. I was able to position and reposition that 1/2" of adhesive until it was perfectly even. Once it was in position, I slowly peeled away the remainder of the backing - smoothing (with my finger) as I moved down, I had to cut one of the decals to fit in the corner so on that one, I started adhering on the non cut edge and working my way (left to right) to the cut side. I took extra time to force the decal into the corner and used a straight edge and box cutter to make the cut - perfect. I noticed that some of the reviewers had a hard time with these decals in their kitchen. This makes sense since the slightest amount of grease will ruin any adhesive. My advice is to make sure the area is very very (very) clean before adhering. I do not know how long these will last or if they will adhere after much use, but for the low cost, they can easily be replaced. And if we get tired of them we can just remove them or purchase replacements. Overall, this is a wonderful product and I would highly recommend! ... show more

    • Bright colors and shiney surface...work well.
They work really well...however, brighter colors and shinier finish than i wanted and i had to trim them a lot to fit...so i have gone with another product. But as far as durability and do they work? On smooth tile, definitely. They easily adhere and are easy to work with.

These tile decals added a lot of personality to my kitchen. Perfect for renters or if you dont have money to redo your kitchen with real tile (which is my case). I had to use spray adhesive to get the decals to stick onto the existing ceramic tile as the adhesive on the decals is not very good.     • Great product, but quantity of each design complicates projects
Great product, but the odd mix of tiles complicates projects. In a packet, there is only 1 of several tile designs, but 3 of other tile designs. When using these for a backsplash, that means you run out of the nice mixing of designs, and end up with a bunch that are the same, so have to reorder more than you need host to maintain the variety. It would be more helpful if there were the same number of each design in the packet. ... show more

I purchased these tiles to spice up my boring white kitchen tiles in my apartment. They were really easy to put on and readjust as needed, I just made sure not to fully press on the entire sticker until it was exactly where I wanted it. The only con is the size selection, there were only two to chose from, I actually needed a size smaller than what I got but it still looks great. ... show more

Not weatherproof as advertised. Used this to cover an outdoor patio table top. Lasted 1 week until the adhesive gave out and they began to fly off due to wind. Easy application, may be useful for indoor projects.
