I got this for the 5 yr old's dress up collection. It is a heavy pony, but has clips and the drawstring to help hold it in place. The biggest problem is that it is really hard to hide where everything is sewn together. It is hard to keep the hair in place to hide it because it parts and falls over, exposing it. She doesn't care and she isn't aware of it (yet) but may take some playing with it or pinning it if you want to use it for real. It is like barbie hair though and pretty thick strands, so it is heavy with the long length. The wave pattern is neat though and the color/highlights look nice. She's happy with it and has just been whipping it around all day, having fun, so I can't complain. It's exactly what she's been wanting, "a super long pony with some blonde in it." First off WOW! The pictures of this ponytail does not do the color justice. Inside lighting, it looks great but when it's in sunlight, it looks so much better in person. I love the fullness of this ponytail. I did have to let it sit overnight after this was delivered and I brushed it out the next morning. I waited a day and a half before putting this on and when I did, it was securely fastened. However, when it comes to putting the pony in, so easy. The undertones really help the color pop and appear more natural. There was minimal shedding when I did brush this but while wearing, no shedding. Can get a little warm when it's 100+ degrees out but other than that, love the look, length and fullness of this wig. Few tricks I’ve picked up over time to get the most out of your purchase: >Shampoo: Mild laundry detergent >Conditioner: Mild fabric softener >Spray your synthetics down with your favorite dry shampoo upon arrival to minimize overly shiny hair >Fingers or Wig/synthetic hair SPECIFIC combs/brushes with your favorite leave in conditioner for brushing out any tangles ... show more

Easy to use with a comb and draw string made of elastic. Color was about what ai expected from the advertisement. It is nice and long and has a layered cut with soft waves. I like it.
