Color: Rustic Brown With Power Outlet and Pegboard
We recently updated our basement "office" space and I had been searching for a reasonably priced corner desk. When I found the SEDETA L Shaped Computer Desk I knew it was meant to be as the dimensions worked PERFECTLY. I did read some of the negative reviews and hesitated since it isn't sold directly by Amz (so I worried about a potential/costly return) but that all turned out to be unnecessary. The box arrived faster than anticipated, had no shipping damage, and inside everything was packaged securely and with lots of protective material. I found assembly to be pretty easy. Each piece was labeled, as was the hardware, and the instructions were pretty clear. The first few steps are "universal" and then the second half of the instructions include the various options for assembly (left facing, right facing or which side you want the hutch). All said and done... it took about 2.5 hours to fully build (and that was while doing other things around the house, and by myself) and I didn't run into any unexpected issues. The quality is what you would expect for this price point... the wood surface itself is a bit thin, but it looks very nice in person and I love the "industrial" look mixing wood and metal. I was also really impressed with the "extras" which are part of this desk - the hutch, pegboard, integrated power and LED light strip are all functional and give it a more "premium" feel. There is also a nice felt storage pouch which attaches to the side and another felt storage bin which can be attached to the pegboard. The only thing I wish is that the computer tower area was a wider shelf instead (there are other SEDETA desk options with drawers/shelves but the desk size isn't the same and we wanted these exact dimensions). If we could have mixed the various options together this would have been perfect! One other thing I'll mention is that we also purchased the SEDETA 44" File Cabinet (also in "Rustic Brown). It isn't an exact color match (a little more of a lighter brown with less of the black grain/streaks) but it's "close enough" to be across the room and not stand out. I've included a photo of that here as well just for reference. I will have more photos on that product/review page for anyone interested, as that was one of the things I looked for when purchasing and considered going in all white since they were likely to be an exact color match. Overall I would recommend this desk - just make sure there's no exterior damage to the box when it arrives from shipping and the inside is well packaged and everything should be good. Enjoy!

Some (okay, quite a bit) assembly required. Comes together nicely. I recommend some good 70s music and an adult beverage as you assemble the desk. Very functional, stylish, and sturdy. Surprisingly affordable for what you get. Delivery was a pleasant surprise, too, arriving several days before it was scheduled to arrive. Recommend.

Desk was easy to put together, I did it entirely myself. No parts missing, an extra of each screw was included. The fit is almost perfect. The only reason it's not getting the full 5 stars is due to the keyboard tray being too low. It's uncomfortable to use and sit under and I ended up removing it entirely. Desk is nice and stable, no wobble or anything. The display backing is awesome for my figures. This was a great addition to my gaming room, just wish it was a smidge taller.

First of all let me praise this table. Second of all let me praise the seller. The table itself is incredibly durable. I'm convinced I could use this as a bed if I wanted to. Incredibly spacious in terms of depth and I don't think I have had a more comfortable work space. I can easily fit all of my monitors on it and the shelves are great for space. The pockets on the side are great for holding water. For the down sides there are not many and they are stuff you can easily fix yourself such as the light strip falling off but I placed it completely against gravity so yes it will fall off because adhesive isn't gorilla glue. The tray for your keyboard is kind of awkward but if your keyboard doesn't have high clearance it's fine and if you use it enough you don't need to see a keyboard to use it. Actually one of the best parts is that the headphone clip can be moved to different parts of the desk to accommodate your layout. Now to praise the support from the seller. I was stupid because the power brick is inlaid on the desk and you can spill liquids into it if you are not careful enough especially with a swivel chair if you are in L config. HOWEVER, the seller was more than willing to help me with a replacement absolutely free of charge despite this being entirely my fault. By the time they sent the tracking number for the replacement it was already at my door ready for me to install. I HIGHLY recommend getting this desk or using SEDETA in general. Be warned this desk is very heavy and putting it together took 4 or 5 very enjoyable hours of using my drill

Absolutely loving this desk. Assembly was fairly easy and the included instructions are mostly clear and well translated. Once it's all together it gives plenty of desktop space for working. It initially feels a little flimsy, but once you start putting it together and tightening stuff up it becomes very sturdy. As long as you aren't trying to stand on it or something it would last a good long while. The pegboard was something I thought was going to be an afterthought, but upon actual use it's cemented itself as a feature I want on any future desk. The included hooks are OK, but much smaller than implied by the product renders, only good for hanging cables or other lightweight thin items. However, any normal pegboard hardware is compatible and a quick trip to the hardware store can provide you hooks or baskets to hang just about anything you need on it. The computer tower area ended up being too small for my case (full size), but a mini or even a mid should be just fine. Similarly, the keyboard tray is a little small, and fullsize keyboard and mouse will not fit, but TKLs and 60%s will be fine. I could fit the keyboard just itself fine, but I prefer to have my mouse and keyboard at the same level, so I ended up repurposing the tray for a drawing tablet. The included LEDs should really probably be considered a bonus. They're a decent low end set with a basic set of preprogrammed colors. The optional app gives you a few more options. The adhesive on the strip is mostly fine, the plug in has had some sticking problems. Very happy with this desk, it's a great addition to my home office.

I got this because of the versatility with how it can be set up and because it had everything I was looking for. I got it and despite a minor hole in the box nothing was visibly damaged. However one of the pieces did have a significant scratch in it and or course it was on the top side so it was visible. I reached out to their customer support and asked if it was possible to get just that piece replaced not really sure if they would and not wanting to deal with a full return. They said they couldn't but instead offered to send me an entirely new desk to keep. Because of the versatility of the desk, the slightly damaged one will go down in our basement in a different orientation as my wife's new sewing desk. Desk was straightforward to put together, took some time but everything was labeled very clearly and instructions even had some common mistakes and how to fix such as the alignment issue mentioned in the reviews. I was able to put it together myself without issue and it feels solid and stable. For the price I am quite happy with it and honestly as much as I thought I wouldn't care, the led is kind of cool looking. The versatility, customer support, shelving and such really make it for me and I'm very happy overall with the product.

Had wanted an 'L' shaped desk for a while and all the ones made of solid wood were either too large or too far away. So, I hoped for one from Amazon. Sedata's got some great desks and they are quite affordable. On top of that, they are also easy to take apart and switch around if you want to shake things up a little or are looking for a new look. I especially enjoy all the little things that came with it, like the cloth pouches. I don't really utilize the pegboard all that much but I want to find ways where I can. The only thing I would like to see is something a little more customizable for the spot where the computer tower sits. I have a gaming pc and it *just* manages to fit in there, after I took the little shelf above off. It'd be nice to have somewhere else to put that where it wouldn't be in the way. And it would also be nice to have a stand that's a bit bigger. Otherwise, honestly, it does the job well regardless. Otherwise, I also enjoy the small shelf. I use it for knickknacks and a few other odds and ends. I would recommend a desk from Sedeta to anyone looking for something that's easily customizable.
