  • Buying another to replace a lost one
My partner had one of these and lost it somehow. He liked it enough that we ordered another one. It's thing and compact and perfect for now, when we carry more cards than cash on a regular basis. Plus it's fun to pop the cards up!

  • Sleek Wallet With Great Functionality
Size: One Size Color: Black
I've been using the Secrid slim wallet for a few years. It has held up fine, but it was time for a change. I decided to switch to the Secrid Cardslide. Feels like solid construction, and I appreciate the additional band that allows me to hold a few extra bills. Overall I prefer it slightly over the slimwallet. ... show more

  • Does the job, slick cardslide, and separation of the parts gives it added versitility.
I got this product about a month ago. Similar to other reviews, the cardslide can hold approximately 6 credit cards, if not all of them are raised embossed digits. I have about 2-3 embossed cards, and 3-4 flat cards. The cardslide is good because the resistance comes from two felt bumpers on either side of the opening. By having this, the cardslide can hold the maximum capacity of cards, or any number in between. You don't have to worry about 2-3 cards falling out (yet). The potential pitfall is that after a month of use, the felt is starting to show signs of fraying. Thus far, it has not affected the operation of the cardslide, but time will tell if further wear will render the slide useless because there's nothing holding the cards in the slot.... I like the clear holder because you can put an ID in it to show through, or you can use it for bills or additional cards. The elastic band that ties the cardslide and the clear holder together will probably wear out. But for now, it's nice because I can use the cardslide on it's own, if i want a thinner sleeker piece to carry around. In fact, I have a money clip/clamp that holds my bills, so I can probably go without the clear holder and just use the cardslide solo. If you think you can hold all your bills and change in the clear holder, think again. It won't hold much. especially since american bills folded once in half will NOT fit in the clear holder. You have to fold twice, and that suddenly makes bill storage very limiting. Like other reviews, also keep in mind that the product is made of hard metal (RFID blocking). This is significant only because although it's the size of the smallest wallet, it will NOT FEEL like a soft wallet in your back pocket. You can put it there (I have) and it's not the end of the world, but it's a hard object in your butt pocket. This is really meant for front pocket, or shirt pocket. The product did what it could in possibly one of the thinnest form factors available. A man can only thin out a deck of cards so much.... ... show more

  • Great card, love the cascading effect
I bought two for myself and my husband, and had to get another one for my father-in-law. This is the perfect cardslide as it keeps your cards neat and organized and retrieving them is a breeze. The mechanism for the cascading effect is both easy to use and appealing. It holds about 3-5 cards depending on how much embossing is there. There was some concern that the number of cards it can hold is limiting. I did have to pair down what I usually carry, but in reality, it is better since how many of us use all the ones we do carry? I keep the others in my old wallet and switch them out with this one as needed for the activity I'm doing for the day. This wallet was also great on a cruise. I usually don't carry wallets in my pocket because they are typically too big. This one is the perfect size and I was able to hold my cruise card in it (didn't want to carry the card alone for fear it would be lost) while on board the ship, and ID credit cards and some money for when off the ship. It was perfect! ... show more

  • Great value and great product
Glad to actually get the electrolime colorway as it pops the right way. I was still able to fill 2 cards and some bills in the wallet aside from the cardholder piece. This is my 4th secrid wallet and it stays for years!

  • Rapid access to your cards.
More convenient than ridge type wallets. Takes a split second to access cards. It is bigger than I thought. Not as discreet as a ridge. The slide aspect holds a couple bills. The money band can be used with or without the slide. I prefer to keep the slide with the card holder rather than just the card holder and money band due to it feeling more secure. Similar to when I used the ridge type wallet, when I had a couple bills it just felt awkward and sometimes bulky when I just used the money band. The slide keeps everything smooth. I’ve had no issues with cards falling out. Prefer to the ridge type wallet mostly due to the ease of card access. ... show more

  • **PICTURES** Moved From Money Clip to SECRID
**PROS** --Slim form factor --Can be separated to make even smaller --Reliable **CONS** --A bit pricey **THOUGHTS** I LOVED money clips. They can hold cash and cards and the small form factor allowed them to contour to whatever pocket I placed them in. However, they allowed my beautiful cards to wear A LOT faster and my cash to rip. Even with those flaws, I still loved the money clip. It's a heck of a lot better than a phat wallet! I've been eyeing the Secrid for some time and I didn't want to wait many months for the newer 'kickstartery' slim wallets to come out, so I scooped this one. It's AWESOME. The best part about it is that you can separate the transparent holder from the original Secrid. That means that it's versatile. If you've been debating between this and just purchasing the original Secrid simply to save a few bucks, I say make the extra investment and purchase the Secrid with the transparent holder. You can always take it off whenever you want. ... show more
