I just got back from a nice little backpacking trip and this cup worked great! Didn't burn my hands on my coffee and it fits right in with my backpacking stove. I am curious how it will hold up over time, if I have any issues I will update this review.

I probably could have been fine with the cup instead of the mug but the mug can also be a bowl for splitting those larger backpacking meals. Love the grippy feel. Easy to clean with water but gets a little static attracting dirt and whatnot in the cup NBD .

I've had a titanium spork and chop sticks in my EDC backpack for years but only recently added this collapsible "cool grip" mug, after finding out how useful it can be. It started this last Winter, making oatmeal in the warehouse before beginning work, and I thought how I could stop wasting paper bowls by bringing this thing to work in my backpack. Lo and behold, it not only saves me from tossing paper bowls but it stops my hands from burning (as advertised) and it cleans up easily and quickly (but just know titanium chop sticks DO NOT). Since those weeks of using it every morning before work and then cleaning it and putting it back in my bag between my tablet and hard case of snacks (it takes up zero space, really), I will likely have this thing on or near my personal items until the day I stop breathing.
