I’d seen all the reviews on social media raving about barefoot shoes being the best thing to happen to shoes since Velcro. As someone who’s struggling with balance and tripping issues I thought being more in touch with the ground beneath me may be a good idea, but I still wanted a comfortable and supportive shoe. I thought for the price it was worth a try. If you’re expecting a shoe to rival your ‘walking on a cloud’ sneaker you will be disappointed. However, this shoe IS comfortable. It supports my feet in all the right places, and I was able to wear it for hours while walking around stores and running errands without needing to sit because my feet were killing me. Best of all, the barefoot feeling made me more aware of the ground below me and I’ve been more steady in my gait. As much as I love my cloud-like sneakers, the thick soles can throw off my balance sometimes. These shoes don’t do that and I felt more confident while I walked. I’ve the shoes for over a month now and they’re wearing very well. I’d definitely recommend giving them a try if you have balance challenges, or just want a comfortable shoe you can throw on quickly to run errands or pick up the kids.

I am in shock over how well made and unbelievably comfortable these Water Shows are. They fit like a glove. Tru to size. The wide toe is super comfortable. Ties adjust and are eleastic. Heels fit snug and no slipping to get blisters. I have since these that I am currently reviewing, I have purchased 6 more pairs, each in a super cut color and pattern. They are delivered very fast and the quality and workmanship surpasses the MUCH more expensive brands. I know the COMFORT certainly does….by far ! By the way I am. 75 yr. Old Lady who likes to be comfortable, but still enjoys wearing cute things !! My huge compliments and Thanks to this wonderful Company who makes these. AND ALWAYS MY BELOVED “AMAZON”

Very comfortable and lightweight. They're great for walking but they really feel like barefoot shoes like a sharp rock or tree root will hurt because the soles are thin and flexible. They dry out pretty fast after getting wet. I've been hiking in them 3 times and they still hold up. I got the 7.5w/6m but I normally wear a size 7 in women and the size wasn't too bad but I wish they had a true 7.

These sneakers are the perfect summer shoes. They are extremely comfortable and do not slip. I like the bungee instead of a regular shoe lace since it gives more stretch. They look well made, so I'm hoping they'll hold up to kayaking and hiking. They do have padding around the ankle that makes them feel more like a tennis shoe instead of a water shoe. The color is perfect for happy vibes. The material is breathable, but the bottom of my feet still get hot. EDIT I ended up sizing up to 8.5 since the 7.5 rubbed the top of my toe and made it sore after a full day of walking. The 8.5 is more breathable and keeps my feet cooler. It is IMPORTANT to note that the 8.5 is NOT the same color as advertised. It has a beige color on top instead of the neon yellow/green. There are also some quality issues with the 8.5. The ones I received were starting to pull apart on the side and some of the vinyl was flaking on top. I requested a replacement and the replacement is the same beige (not neon green) on top. The replacement did not have any issues with adhesive or vinyl. I hope they will last for the summer. The main reason for dropping it to 3 stars is I had my heart set on the neon colors as advertised and these with the beige just don't pop as much.
