I first bought this in the black color over a year back at Target during some promo. It has since become my go to hair scrunchie after I’ve washed my hair, blown it dry, or kept it wet, and have various other scrunchies and clips I use and try to use certain ones for less clean hair as I only wash mine 1-2 times a week. I have thickish medium long hair, and steer clear of the thinner hair ties as I think they are better for finer and shorter hair. I usually double tie my scrunchies, but depending on how much give, I’ll triple tie it during work outs (though I refrain from using this as it’s one of the nicer ones). I do plan on buying a mulberry silk pack of oversized scrunchies that are in similar dimensions, but I own my original black one which I love, and then got the champagne colored one back in the fall, and recently purchased the newest color, the red, just before valentines. I haven’t used either, and opened the red one as I probably will keep it cause I love how well these stay in my hair without feeling like they are too tight and they also look expensive like a silk one. The recent red one I only wish was a bit more of a cherry red as it is called and shown, instead it appears more of a fire engine red, (closer to a warm red vs a cool toned red w slight pink hues). I wish it came in pink, and they released more colors in general but I highly recommend these to anyone with non fine hair and that like both comfort and style. ... show more

I’ve been on the search for a fashionable/fun hair scrunchie that looks intentional rather than like I just woke up and threw it in. Also, I baby my hair so I avoid plain elastics. The image I included shows 3 scrunchies. The black one in the middle is this item. I was expecting it to be bigger as it is called “jumbo”. It is nowhere near the size of another brand I purchased (Kristin Ess). That said it is larger and the elastic is less stiff than the silk one I also purchased on Amazon (MTSNOO brand). This black scrunchie is very soft to the touch, and while it is not silk, I feel like it is protecting my hair from damage. It is big enough to wrap my fine hair twice, (image here) and could go three times around if I wanted to. The elastic inside has some give, it isn’t stiff. I think for those like me who don’t have a lot of hair it works great, and looks bigger in the hair -for those with thick hair, it may not be as “fluffy” because it will stretch out the fabric more around the hair. Overall this is not as “jumbo” as in would have liked but it is extremely comfortable and well made. I would recommend. ... show more

I suffer with severe migraines and a very sensitive scalp, but I also have long and thick hair. This is the only scrunchie I will use as a matter of fact it’s the only one I’ve been using for about three years now and I continuously repurchase it because they do get stretched out. I would say a rubber band used daily for me probably last about four months.
