I've ridden over 7K miles in this helmet so far. It's my first helmet so i don't have any other frame of reference, but I'm happy with the fit, the style, the quality, and aerodynamics. If there is one downside, it is not quiet with the exhaust of my H-D and especially with the wind at higher speeds. I've read that some of the more expensive helmets ($500+) do a better job with cutting down on wind noise, but I always wear ear plugs so it hasn't really been a huge negative. I did a bunch of research and wanted to be sure I got a helmet with SNELL certification, which this one has, so I feel safer with it. May seem gross to some...I probably should pull the pads out and hand wash them soon, but honestly I haven't felt the need to...no odor or indications of grossness (and it's hot here). I always air it out on it's side when I finish riding. I got a second bike which doesn't go as well with this style, so I'm actually thinking of picking up another ScorpionEXO R420 in solid white. ... show more

DOT and SNELL appvd. -- Tight & hard to get on at 1st - almost returned it - but went for a couple rides - it now fits good (snug) w/ no pressure points. Seems a little less wind noisy than my EXO-T520. - Very good value. I put a strip of 3/4" green "frog tape" across the top of the visor (definitely helps on bright days)-I ride upright so it doesn't limit visibility. 2¢ - YMMV ... show more

Pretty comfortable, good air flow, I wear glasses and I am able to still wear them with the helmet on. Can't have my ear buds in though but you shouldn't have ear buds in anyway. So yeah, this is a good choice. Haven't crashed yet so can't review how well it protected my head so yeah.

Man I love this helmet and comfort. My thick tomford frames were able to fit on to this helmet.. helmet feels snug and I ordered a larger. Great for oval head.

This is a nice helmet but its shell is larger than a standard DOT helmet. I'm told thats necessary to accommodate the padding required to meet Snell requirements. I didn't have any issues with wind noise or helmet lift on the highway as others have reported. I don't like the size it makes me feel like lord helmet but Its a trade off I'm accepting for the additional safety. If I find a typical sized snell helmet I'll likely buy it and reserve this one for a passenger. ... show more

I have about 30 hours in this helmet and can say it is comfortable. My head measured 23.5” which should be a large according to the size chart but was too small. I exchanged for an XL. Vents work well.
