Amplifying the increased airflow coverage are large gauge mesh panels in key heat build-up areas (under arms, upper chest and upper back). Integrated action-back panels increase rider mobility and comfort while decreasing fatigue. Low-profile, neoprene- finished collar provides maximum rider mobility and comfort. Multi-point adjustments at the hips, biceps, and forearms create a user-defined custom fit. YKK® Vision zippers for reliable and snag-free functionality. Versatility: Removable, full-sleeve, zip-in 100% waterproof liner extends your riding season. Multi-pocket design (two outside chest, two hand warmer, plus two inside pockets) for much needed storage. 360° of Nightviz® Reflective on back and upper arms. I am 6'1" 170lbs and a large fit me great, just wish the adjustment along the waist and biceps could get tighter, not a real big deal just more personal preference. Has a removable liner that feels waterproof, and is definitely warm. Armor in the back, shoulders, and elbows. My husband bought it. Just remove the liner and perfect for summer ride. Then add the liner and it do it’s job for chilly morning, never tried in rain. Enough pockets to store things you need for ride, not tested it’s padding (hopefully never have to). He said, if you want to wear on top of your uniform buy a size up. As he sometime put it on and had no issues at all, he tried it with full sleeves tshirts (in civilian uniform) and just have to adjust two fasteners in his arms. Very well made and he is happy, he got XL and ride Rocket 3 GT. Good value for the money, and don’t feel restricted movement even with full face helmet. ... show more

Jacket is great all around material is of quality. Perfect for riding around in the summer. I took the water resistant liner and you get a real nice breeze when riding around 90° weather. ONLY!! Thing I don't like is that it's too short. I got a large because I am 5' 9" 190lbs athletic build and the jacket feels like a belly shirt but fits the chest and shoulders perfectly.     • Good mesh summer motorcycle jacket

I wanted a summer motorcycle jacket and this seems a good one. More (or less) than just being textile (not leather), this one has a light weight nylon liner that easily unsnapped to leave a summer jacket that was a blend of heavy weight nylon in some high wear places and mesh in large panel areas to let the air blow thru. Only a few pockets (not to gimmicky) with good zippers, it seems just what I was looking for. BTW, I bought mine as an Amazon open box item, and it seemed like new with tags to me. All good. As for sizing, I'm a smallish guy being about 5'7" (170cm), 150lbs (68kg), usually wear 32" pants and/or a 38 short in a sports jacket. The size small was pleasantly snug on me in a t-shirt. I might be able to wear a light sweater or something under it, but not much more. That's ok because I bought it for the summer, but my suggestion is if you're much bigger than me you probably want a size bigger. ie: maybe 5'9" and/or 165+lbs would be a medium, and so on. There's not much to say except this is my favorite riding jacket for warm-to-hot riding days. The warmest I've experienced so far is around 85F and it feels good. I love that it has a belt loop snap on the back and that keeps it from flapping/riding up on me as I ride. The mesh tech flows air REALLY well. I am very impressed. I also have a couple Dainese jackets and a TourMaster 3-season, but this Scorpion is my go-to for summer riding. I really love the air flow and the fit. It's very comfortable on my body and seems to be sized well and more of an 'American' fit, being a tad on the larger side rather than small. I'm 6'4"/240 lbs wearing a Large and it fits amazingly well. Depending on how you're built or if you're extremely muscular, this might be tighter in the arms, but for me it's perfect. I wear a size 58 in the Dainese jackets and Large Tall for the TourMaster. The Large in this Scorpion Vortex Air fits great and is a perfect summer jacket. ... show more

After reading reviews for this and many other jackets, choosing the Scorpion Vortex Air Jacket was a relatively easy decision. It arrived a mere six days after I ordered it (Come on, slackers! Lol...), and more than anything I was hoping the fit was correct. I'm about 5'10" and 275 pounds (I blame working from home...), so I ordered the 3XL. As soon as I slipped the jacket on I could tell it was a perfect fit -- ABSOLUTELY PERFECT fit! It looks fantastic, and the construction appears to be excellent.     • Good mesh jacket with super ventilation, light weight

Great summer jacket, very well ventilated and light weight as compared to textile or leather jackets. Fit is very good too, however if I add a thick shirt from inside it will be uncomfortable. I am 5’10” and 175 lbs athletic build with a little belly. The armor feels good and almost invisible. It sucks that you need to spend another $40 for the back protector. Also the biggest turn off for me was that the grey colored sections were very shimmery, almost made me look like going to a disco. ... show more
