A friend told me to get the brand name stylus but this one was cheaper so I got it instead. I don’t know about the quality of this one because I don’t have the other one to compare it to but it definitely doesn’t work for me. I guess you get what you pay for!

I’m using this scoring stylus with my Cricut Explore 3 and it works very well. It scores cardstock cleanly and accurately. The one thing I did notice is that the stylus has to be used with the original Cricut adapter. Initially, I was using the stylus with a universal pen adapter and it was scoring, but the placement of the lines was slightly off and the impression was weak. I tried different settings and ensured the stylus was correctly placed and secured in the adapter, but the issues persisted. I replaced the universal adapter with the original Cricut pen adapter and just like that the stylus scored the cardstock perfectly. I will have to switch between adapters when I work with the stylus, as I use the universal adapter more often, but it works well and suits my needs.

Love this tool and the fact that I don’t have to switch it back and forth between drivers on my cricut maker. Highly recommend!! Great quality and I like the score lines better than the other options.
