Should have checked Amazon first! We had to deal with the nightmare of canceling one bike and getting price match on the other from Dick's once we realized we paid twice the price ordering from them. Dick's bike experts are not needed to put this bike together - it comes 90% assembled in the box. With the video available here and on youtube for that exact bike it was a breeze for two people to pull it out of the box and use the box as a prop to finish assembly. The brake and gear adjustments are done by handy lil knobs. It is heavy, and it is tall. We got L/XL and S/M and I can tell you the seats at their lowest levels are the same height because the same seat post is used and it can't go lower into the S/M bike post. I'm 5'9" so it was ok, but I actually didn't like the seat it came with - the storage is cute but not really practical for me and it's not as comfy as my old cruiser seat. Of course my cruiser seat post didn't fit in this wider bike post so I also had to buy an adaptor, but once I did, I not only had my seat of choice I was also able to lower it a smidge since that older seat post was also shorter! We didn't get these for max speed. We bought these because we moved to the top of a hill in a hilly neighborhood and never rode our regular bikes again after the first horrible attempt....now we can cruise all over with no worries! We've been on several adventures checking out places in our new area we wouldn't have otherwise had access to. They are absolutely beautiful in the green color, haven't had any issues at all, and we love them.

The bike itself is great. Schwinn has been around along time. My first was a Stingray back in the late 60’s. The only issue I have is the owners manual doesn’t have some explanations of certain operating items for the computer/operating screen. Also for a heavier bike the brakes fall a little short.

First off, I purchased this from Amazon Warehouse to save a few hundred dollars in hopes in was in near perfect condition…unfortunately it was not. I made some adjustments and repairs during assembly to make the bike rideable. The fenders were out of alignment (not a huge deal but for $2k not acceptable), front disc brake was bent so bad I never could get it perfect (intermittent rubbing every revolution), shifting was haphazard and even with adjustment, was far from quality machinery and finally and most importantly, the pedal assist didn’t function at all after a few short rides. BIG NOTE: This is a BIG BIKE (I purchased the Small/Medium version for my wife). I’m 6’ tall and this bike was fine for me (athletic and in good shape) but my wife at 5’7” wanted no part of this behemoth. I’ve seen this issue in other reviews and they are spot on, this bike is NOT SMALL by any measurement. Bottom Line: I tried to like this bike, I grew up with the Schwinn name, but the quality of the 70s has been replaced with the mass production of the 2000s. In all fairness this was an Amazon Return when I bought it (and it is again) and maybe a Brand New bike would not have the issues I had, but I am of the opinion this is a $1200 ebike, not a $2000 ebike. I only have a $4k ebike to compare this Schwinn to now and in all fairness, if the Schwinn Coston DX was perfect and operated as intended it is an average entry into the ebike world.

This bike is Amazing! I recently had a job change where riding a bike would be more convenient than driving to work. After some research and considering several different options, I decided on the matte charcoal Schwinn Coston e-bike. This bike has not disappointed. Bike shipped super fast. There were a couple of spots on the box that were damaged, but the bike was double boxed and in perfect condition when opened. The bike was 3/4 of the way assembled. The remainder of the assembly was very straight forward and easy due to the very clear step by step directions in the owner's manual and supplied tools. Once assembled, the bike took about 4 hours for the initial battery charge. I was a little worried about which size to purchase. I am a 5'9 male and purchased the L/XL size according to the size chat, and the size chart is right on. I've ridden heavy single speed cruiser bikes for a while and was excited to see how much the electric assist would help. The bike did NOT disappoint. The e-bike handlebar display and key pad are straight foward and easy to use. My 1st ride was a 4 mile ride around town, and it was awesome. Even with just the electric assist on the "1" setting, hills were effortless. I can honestly say this was one of the most enjoyable bike rides I've had in years. I was also curious how the electric assist would work while braking or just coasting. I was pleasantly surprised how responsive the brakes are and also how the electric assist stops when you are braking. 1st ride was great, but I purchased this bike to be a commuter bike for every day. Again, I am very happy with this purchase. I can get to my new job in the same amount of time or less than if I was driving to work. The 5 different electric assist levels make it easy to accelerate from stop signs and reach a great cruising speed in no time. It's very well built, sturdy, and a very comfortable ride. I would highly recommend this bike to anyone in the market for an electric hybrid bike.

La uso 2 veces al mes me llego fallando el Descarriador no llega a el primer y el último cambio de resto me gusta bastante quisiera saber si yo soy el único que le falla? Y si le darán garantía por esa pieza de resto muy comoda y el tamaño L es bastante grande yo mido 1 76 cm y me queda muy apenas en lo más bajo del asiento 💺 si mides menos no recomiendo este tamaño

Bike will not fit as noted in size chart. My wife is 5 foot 6 and can’t even come close to getting on seat in lowest position. I am 6 foot 1 and have the seat in the lowest position. Way overrated for sizing. Bought for my wife and totally oversized.
