This is a cute toy. My daughters (aged 3 and 6) both enjoy playing with this. They are both obsessed with horses so this toy was a perfect fit. I really like that the girl figure can be taken on and off the horse. Also, the saddle and bridle can be taken off as well, which my daughters really enjoy doing over and over. The horse stands up well on its own too, which is nice since some of their figurines are bad quality and are often lopsided. The biggest thing I don't like about this toy is that the girls legs are constantly bent, so even though she comes off the horse, she's always in a seated position which isn't too fun for pretend play. It also can be tricky at first for kids to learn how to put the bridle on. Overall, it's a fun toy for any kid who is a horse lover. ... show more

The horse itself is very pretty and durable. The saddle and bridle are nice too, the saddle is a little loose though. The biggest problem I had with the set is that the rider isn’t what I expected. In some of the product photos, it looks like the rider has articulated legs. Mine did not, I was slightly disappointed about that, part of the reason I was so excited about the set was to see the new rider and have a more articulated figure.
