They are definitely high wasted. I like to wear things lower waisted so they def have a long crotch. They look good and are lightweight. I can definitely karate kick without any issues. Not sure about the polyester in shorts for the heat though. Gray is a bit more purple gray undertone. The green is really a dark greyish green

I loved the look but not the feel of these initially. I ordered my correct size but the inner lining (shorts, not fully lined) felt like a diaper to me. I returned them and then decided to order the next size up and I’m so happy I did. I absolutely love the wide leg look and I’ll keep wearing them long after they go out of style. I don’t know how they’ll wash and I really hope they don’t shrink in length like so many Amazon “cotton” or “linen” pants ultimately do. I will say be cautious with your shoe choice with long, wide leg pants as your heel can easily get caught and trip you. I personally learned that lesson the hard way. So thrilled they are offering them in other colors now. Ordered the olive and considering the blue grey next. If you’re between sizes or have sensory issues, size up, especially for summer.
