I was really excited about this set. The vest felt like very good quality and was the ideal ren-fair material. However, the dress underneath is very thin (like, very very thin). It felt like a sheet and I could see so much underneath. Maybe the dress was thinner because it comes with the vest and should only be worn with the vest, but I was hoping to wear it for many things. I did have to return it because when I ordered I thought I ordered my size but when it arrived it was a Medium and I couldn't get the vest to fit properly.

I ordered a small and the dress hugs my figure perfectly. Very flattering. Material thickness is perfect, I wanted something light because it gets hot at the renaissance fair. I was surprised at how much I loved it as I wasn’t expecting much for $35. Thank you!!!

Quality was awesome and it fit true to size, I purchased the XL. I will definitely purchase more items from Scarlet Darkness! My only complaint is that the dress came stuffed in a bag, not folded to reduce wrinkles. I spent an hour steaming out the wrinkles to wear.

Love love love. This costume was much more affordable than lots of others but the quality was equal to or even better than several others I tried. I’m using this for a renaissance themed wedding my sister is having. Super comfy. I am 5’2, 130 pounds, 34B bra, I normally wear a size M. I ordered an M and it fit great! I sometimes wear a small if it’s in hoodies, oversized styles or unisex sizing.

I was nervous at first about this outfit fitting me. I order this because of the price, and I needed it in a hurry for our local renaissance festival. The white fabric is a little see through. You are able to see my bra through the white dress. The white dress fitted just right, but it was a little tight around my arms (but not bad enough to be a bother). Both the white underdress, and the black overdressed was made with a nice lightweight martial. I didn't get to hot walking around. The black outerdress wasn't to tight, and it was very flattering around my waist area. It's looks nice, affordable, good material and true to size. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.
