My bust is - 36 inches Natural Waist = 29 inches (I wear size 27 in jeans) I bought size 8 in White after reading the size description. I may have been able to go down a size to cinch it up better. The dress is tied as tight as it will go, and does feel snug on me - so I think it will be fine, but was wondering if possibly I could have gone down a size to get an even snugger fit. I think I'm just in between sizes because this one does work. How I achieved the fit; I loosened the laces completely, unzipped the side of the dress, and then got in, zipped it up and had someone else tighten the laces up to where it felt comfortable. This is a quality dress! I was so surprised! This is not thin costume material - this is nice, heavy, thick material that is going to hold up. The dress came compressed in a vacuum packed bag and I steamed the wrinkles out. The wrinkles released nicely with plenty of steaming. There are POCKETS! These pockets feel nicely stitched - as in, they don't feel like they are going to rip open. I bought this dress as the foundation piece for the Alice in Wonderland "White Queen" dress for a costume party I have coming up in October. In the picture I am posting, I am wearing a white mesh long sleeve top under the dress that I bought separately on Amazon, and I'll be adding a petticoat, crown, and accessories to pull the look together. There is plenty of skirt to add a nice thick petticoat under it - or even a hoop skirt. ... show more

I can't say there is anything wrong with the dress. Its beautiful, and I love the fact that its long on me I'm 5'3. Unfortunately their biggest size from what I can tell is a size 16. I would love to get this in a bigger size.

I wore this beauty to an Edgar Allan Poe speakeasy event after Halloween and it fit the Gothic/Victorian funeral vibe perfectly! I felt like Morticia Addams when I put it on lol For the ladies with a smaller bust like myself, the ties for the corset do tighten to fit more snug on top. I also pinned the extra material under my arms to get a better fit. I wished I sized down from an 8 to a 6, but I was on a time crunch and didn't have time. This is definitely NOT a costume and is a certified formal dress in every sense of the word. It's high quality and well made and comfy as far as corset dresses go. The arms are elastic and I didn't experience any slipping when I wore it. I want to buy the red or green for Christmas and find an excuse to go somewhere formal to wear it. Gorgeous! ... show more
