What surprised me the most was the sturdy material its not light material more medium in make. I wouldnt call it soft but flexible.. I expected it to be almost fragile costume type. So light and easily wrinkles. I was wrong. I will not do not put it in the wash if you want to keep the integrity of the fabric. We handwashed it and I do not wash it afyer every wear unless dirty. Size is true, I wear a size 4 dress and this fit perfectly based on their sizing chart. Easy to use, it slips on and the zipper on the side makes it quick to put on and off. ... show more

The bad news: this product is *not* made for busty girls. I left DDD-land behind years ago, and with what I'm carrying now, I could not lace this up all the way over my chest. It does not sit beneath them. Which was my biggest worry when I bought it, honestly. The good news: even with a large open gap in the front, the laces hold it together nicely and it still actually looks quite pretty. The fact that I can't fully close it in the front doesn't actually take away from it at all. Liked it so much I bought it in another color! Honestly I went back and forth between the pink and green but I loved the quality so much after getting the pink that I ordered the green. I would say very true to size and true to the colors in the images. Perfect for ren faire or just living your best whimsical life! Did I mention the material was so soft and there are pockets??? The pockets did make the side zipper a bit of a pain but once I had it laced where I needed it I just avoided unzipping it. Very comfortable. Lightweight. Definitely worth the buy. Easy to tie and untie. It was hard to get the wrinkles out after a wash. But steam took care of that. Fits great. I'm 196lbs give or take and 5ft 3in tall got the extra large. Wasn't tight
