If liquid to powder is mixed correctly this acrylic is great to work with. I was a PRO for 30 years, but I’m rusty about six years now I. And, as many know, doing your own nails as good as they do them in a salon can be tough. But, I SHOULD still be able to do it, so I went for it and even watched a refresher video on YouTube 😂. The only thing I had some trouble with during the first application was when BUILDING the nail surface curves and thickness. The quick dry time cured the acrylic before I was done molding, because I wasn’t working fast enough. So, I wound up having to do some extra filing-but with a drill, that’s not a big deal. But just to do a regular fill, adding the acrylic ball below the cuticle area of the nail and dragging it down onto the remaining acrylic was simple and smooth (hold the finger in a downward position so self-leveling happens more naturally). Even adding another thin layer-perfect. I Really like this clear powder. It’s extremely strong, so strong it’s hard to file with hand held files if you overuse the product a lot. My suggestions are to keep it wet as your sculpting and pressing when forming/shaping the nails, sor it will stick to your brush (when doing pressing/patting motions)-just keep adding liquid to the brush and working fast, until you’re done customizing. This acrylic is a really good quality product-smell isn’t bad. I recommend it and would buy it again. I’d like to try other colors! ... show more

First off let me star by saying you need a electric nail file thing to smooth it out once your done. Also, it doesn't have the ph bond you need to have the acrylic stay for as long as they say. They say it's a complete set to do your nails professionally but its not you need the ph bond and nail prep solutions. ( i only used the ph bond)Luckily I had some from when I did the gel builder nails a while ago. I really wanted to do them myself and do them nice an thick because I work on cars and do construction everyday but want to look nice too. I'm still a woman 😆 and I still like having myself look nice and my nails being gorgeous and strong. Great product tho I did a full set and barly put a dent in this jar. I probably won't have to buy more for another year or more and thats estimating that i have to fill them in twice a month.Especially now that their done and all I have to do is fill them in when they grow there is alot of powder and acrylic solution. BTW if your brushes are new dip them in some brush conditioner and it makes them like the salon and easier to use. Also get some slip solution so you can get your brush clean after doing your acrylic nails. It will dry on your brush a make it so hard you can't use it. Hope I helped. I said things nobody else said and I know I needed to know before I ordered. They won't tell you because they want to make more money off you. This is almost identical to what the salons use. With that being said, there is a reason they go to school and they get paid to do it. This is really hard to do on just your nails, the guide really isn’t helpful. I bought nail tips and I’m going to try it that way. This is coming from someone who’s done their nails since I was little, and I’m rather artistic as well. I would also invest in a drill. If you hate the growth from the salon, and how it catches little strands of your hair… I’d avoid. They looked really good until I painted them lol. Finding the consistency was harder than you’d think, it would get either too runny or too sticky. But the quality of the product seems great! Does the job but I’m not the biggest fan of the brush. It was stiff even after use so it made applying the acrylic a bit difficult. The stickers didn’t work for me either!

This is the perfect kit to practice acrylic beads at a low price and durable nails at the same time. I’m not a professional- I got tired of having damaged nails and paying $60 or more plus the ring of fire on my nails. I bought this kit in February and now April these nails are a week old- not perfect but slowly getting better at overlaying on my natural fingernails with acrylic. The downside is that the monomer is very strong imo. I do my nails outside to keep the smell out of my home. -You will need the dehydrator and primer for acrylics to avoid lifting.- I had those already.- ... show more

pretty impressed with myself for a first timer. granted i did a fill-in, not a full set application. there’s a learning curve with the liquid to powder ration but you figure it out quickly. this, alongside a nice electric drill, are gonna save me a lot of money!

Are you looking for an easy self leveling acrylic with a slow dry time to learn with …. This isnt it Acrylic with a low smell …. Also no Something long lasting to add strength to your natural nails…. Still a no I am from a time of $45 full sets and $20 fills, the nail salons would smell up the entire wing of the mall and I am here to tell you this smells so much worse not only did I get a headache so did my family : in the other room. This is not a slow curing acrylic, the bead no matter how small was almost cured on the outside before the acrylic inside could even be saturated which can leave air pockets that can harbor moisture and bacteria and lead to all sorts of fun friends growing in your nails 🤢. This acrylic is also absolutely not even in the realm of self leveling, no matter how small the bead its a beast to try to shape. The amount of positive reviews here is troubling either they are offering gift cards, coupons or free stuff for good reviews or someone in quality control needs to be fired. I should also note, this isnt my first time using acrylic. Im not a pro but I’m not a novice either. ... show more
