These shoes fit snugly around the ankle, a bit higher than I would like ideally but they keep my foot from pronating, which is the point. This shoe design accomodates narrow heels, which is perfect for me. The shoe's back heel looks a bit clunky as it sticks out more than in previous models but if that helps stabilize the shoe, I don't mind. I just wish the shoe sole was not in glowing white. I like the blue color but would prefer a more subdued color sole. Overall I'm happy with the shoe.

PROS: These are comfortable for casual walking, court games (tennis, pickleball), jogging, or aerobics. The sole definitely has shock absorbers and great stability. This can be felt with every step. Also nice to have a wide width option because I was able to downsize to a half. I usually wear 8.0, but was able to fit a 7.5 wide. Expensive, but worth investing if your feet are happy. The light purple sole and bold shape gives this shoe a pop! Insert is removable. CONS: There are no eyelets for easy shoestring application. Instead, they have tiny fabric hoops. If you must take shoestring off to make adjustments, you may run into this issue. If you have a high toe knuckle (base of the toe), it may run into friction or a hard spot.
