  • Very comfortable trail running shoe
Size: 8 Color: Glacier/Bronze
I am not a runner, so just easing into light jogging and hiking on trails. These shoes are very comfortable and offer great cushion and support.

  • Love Saucony running shoes!
Size: 7.5 Color: Finesse Black
As an avid runner who has gone through about 10 pairs of kinvaras, the peregrine feels like a kinvara with some awesome traction to handle rough terrain, including wet leaves downhill! Very pleased so far! What I love most about saucony shoes is the ability to slide your foot in on day 1 with ZERO breaking in like you have to do with a lot of other brands. ... show more

  • Probably not right for my feet and needs and has this weird staining thing.
Size: 8.5 Color: Arroyo
I loved the feel and fit of these shoes when I got them. I have narrow feet with a very high arch, women's US 8.5. I average 6 miles/day on the trail, with many long days. These were shaped just right and nice and squishy. I was not a fan of how the color actually came, a little more baby poop yellow than the sunny yellow I love. But, it grew on me. But, as soon as even a drop of water got on these, there would be this weird bleeding through staining (picture). It would go away, but not always. It might go away if they got wet again. But, I'm perplexed as to what it is and it's a little alarming if you do long trail because it looks just like when blood soaks through your shoes. That wouldn't have mattered, I know when my feet are bleeding...usually...but, as soon as I went out on the trail, my feet were just in agony after. I couldn't figure it out because the shoes were so comfy, but at one point, it took me WEEKS to recover. I finally realized (I think) that it's because the soles are so stiff. When not stretching or flexing like on a trail, it doesn't really matter, but on the trail it's like going with wood blocks strapped to your feet. So some people, this amount of support is great, but I hike barefoot...I like a lot of flex. And, now I know how bad support can be for me. So, these may be great for you, but if you like minimal or barefoot or even just run on trail, they may not be the best choice. ... show more

  • Lighter weight that regular hiking shoes, can be used on gravel trails
Size: 10 Color: Night/Fossil
A few people said this shoe runs small so I ordered a half size up. It fits my narrow heel if I use the extra lace holes. It is fairly nice on the gravel trail, there is good traction. The sides near the shoe have good ventilation but that "grid" can attract mud or (water). There is a little metal loop near the front of the laces so I can attach my gaiters. They are definitely lighter weight than conventional hiking shoes. All in all I am happy with the shoe. ... show more
