As you can see by the photo,!I wear these every day. I have three pairs! Before foot surgery I could only wear clogs, soft ones, with an open back. That kept the top of the shoe from touching the arthritic part of my foot. After surgery, the doctor told me I MUST wear a substantial running shoe. These have been a godsend. So comfortable. Worth every penny. They look cute and have held together very well. With an extra wide my foot is not irritated. I ordered these shoes because I have an extra wide foot. Also I get a lot of callouses on my feet. So these shoes have extra cushion and bounce. Very comfortable. True to size.

I really like these shoes, and I have been through Asics, Brooks, New Balance, and Altra to try to find a comfortable stability shoe. Unfortunately, the Guide 17 is phasing out and I do not like the Guide 18. It is stiffer and bulkier. I wish they would quit tinkering with a good thing.

Arch support was not to my liking- it dug into my foot. So I got a sheepskin lining and that helped ease the discomfort and also lifted my ankle enough to alleviate the rubbing I experienced from the high sides. They work well for my step class. Why did you pick this product vs others?: Love the look of these walking shoes. Not sure on fit. Thought they would be more cushioned judging by the sole thickness but they are more firm and supportive. Not a bad thing but not what I was expecting. Ive done a lot of miles in these.     • Best running shoe for plus size athletes
I weigh 239 lbs and ran 9 miles in these and they saved my feet. The first time I did a treadmill run in them they knocked a minute off my mile time just from how springy and painless they are. Love these so much.
