I've worn Saucony almost exclusively for about a decade. They fit my feet. They're comfortable. I like them. When I ran, I would get a replacement pair for running and then use my previous running shoes for my everyday outings shoes. When I gave up running, I continued to purchase Saucony. Recently I had about reached the point where the holes in the tops of my shoes were about to completely open up to a point where they would no longer be useable, and decided to go back to 2 pairs - one for workouts and one for everyday and I needed to invest in both pairs at the same time. I decided on a pair of Cohesions for my everyday shoe, but wanted a different model for my workout shoes. I did a "what style works best with your feet" and Guides were on my list. I decided to give them a try even though they got mixed reviews. I put them on and they seemed comfortable. But after wearing them around my living room for about 15 minutes, I realized they weren't as comfortable as I'd hoped, so I returned them. They weren't really too small - they fit my feet as expected when I first put them on. The longer wear discomfort was more along the sides of my feet and may have been fine had I kept them and broke them in. I certainly wouldn't discourage anyone from trying them. They were beautiful. I would have loved to wear them had they worked out. But as there was a sale with a similar price for another style of shoe that I'd previously worn, I decided returning these made the most sense at the time.

Love these Saucony brand shoes, well made, good support, lightweight, I wear a 7.5 wide and wide is usually hard to find. I wear these shoes until they fall off my feet and I'm not easy on shoes. I've even removed the insoles and have thrown them in the wash machine, they can take a beating.

The stability factor of this shoe is good. The cushioning of this shoe is NOT good. Every heel strike was more loud and jarring than it should be As for sizing, I think it's pretty on point. I wear an 8.5 running shoe and I need a slightly wide toe box, so I ordered a size 9 based on reviews that the shoes were small. The size 9 was definitely too big for me, so I would most likely have done just fine with my regular 8.5. For me, these are going to be gifted to my daughter with a size 9 foot. I'm going to stick with my cushiony, nuetral, Triumph shoes.

I normally wear a 9.5, but these feel a little small in the toe box. They are firm and supportive; I overpronate when running, so based on the reviews, they sounded like a great option. I am frugal and don't pay over $90 on shoes ever, but I'm beginning to think I need to suck it up and go to a running store to get fitted properly. The soles on these are much better than my previous pair, the Kinvara. I love the Concord color. I have only really walked in them, with a couple of short running sprints, for less than 20 miles so far. They feel better when I run in them than they do for just walking. For walking, they almost feel a little TOO stiff, although the arch support is great. The heels and sides fit comfortably and don't seem to rub weird like some other Saucony have in the past. The laces are a different more mesh fabric, but they stay tied well. I will try to remember to update after I've run in them more, but for now I give them 3.5 to 4 stars because I'm not sure if my feet like them as much as I had hoped they would. I bought them for running, but I have not been getting the miles in, so time will tell.
