  • Durable and comfy all in one shoe.
Size: 9 Color: Cloud/Iris
Super comfy ! Wore them on my trip to France and they were so nice and a true fit for me . I was working the World Driving single pony championships there in LaPin and I was on my feet walking the venue for 6 days my back never felt better because of these shoes .

  • Comfortable and great quality!
Wanted fresh shoes for a 5 day backpacking trip in acclimate weather through the Rockies and these shoes did not disappoint! Very comfortable and sturdy. I have high arches so I also use inserts. The grip was great climbing over wet rocks. Even after several hikes, they still look almost new. I always buy a half size bigger than normal in my athletic and hiking shoes. My normal shoe size is 9 and I bought 9.5. ... show more

  • Very good shoes, took 1 star off for walking on wet surfaces
Size: 8.5 Wide Color: Concrete/Night
I bought these due to a foot and knee problem. I gave AI a list of my foot/knee issues, then gave it a list of shoes I liked, and it picked these. Since I haven't had the best of luck buying shoes on my own (some have made my conditions worse) I went with AI's choice. First, they don't have alot of cushion but that was something I wanted as for some foot problems, shoes with too much cushion can make stuff worse. My other shoes were Sketchers D'lites (super cushioned) so it took a few days to get used to these but, they are are actually more comfortable to me now then previous shoes, and they are more stable. They are VERY light, i was amazed by that when I first got them, and they are good for stabilizing and arch support which was something else I needed. SIZE: I have always worn a 8 or 8.5 in womens, I was going to order a 8 but AI suggested 8.5 and I'm GLAD I went with that, they fit but just barely I mean they are comfortable but if I had thick socks (I don't normally wear those) they would be too tight. So if you wear regular socks go with your size, if you want to wear thicker socks, go a half size up. I ordered the wide width as I do in all shoes and they were wide enough without being overly so. I've never been a huge fan of mesh stuff on shoes, to me to wears down to fast and lets water in when your walking through wet grass. But I also live where its super hot and humid in the summer so I think these will do great for that, probably be a bit chilly on the toes in the winter (I am a person who tends to wear the same shoes year round unless we have a foot of snow or something). The one big CON....WATCH YOUR STEP ON ANY WET SURFACE. I walk daily so I like to think I'm fairly sure footed, and I know new shoes can be slick at first, and I know some wet surfaces like wood deck can be slick. But I went to walk out my back door and nearly fell on the wet wood deck, not only did I do the splits lol, but I slide a few feet while standing up before I came to a stop, deck was like SOLID ICE and its summer time, just a wet deck after a rainstorm. I went into basement with unfinished concrete floor which is smooth but doesn't have any sealant or anything on it, because my shoes were still slightly damp I almost fell in the basement as well. I decided to test them out on other surfaces since it just rained so I know what surface to be careful on. The sidewalk was also slick, not as bad as the deck or basement but I had to be very careful going up and down the front concrete steps and sidewalk. They did fine on the gravel driveway and on grass, and when they aren't wet they do have excellent traction. I think after they get scuffed up a bit on the bottom from walking they will be fine, but for the first few days or week of using them I'd 100% be super careful on wet surfaces or go for a walk in them right away on a paved or gravel road to rough up the bottoms a bit. Aside from nearly breaking my neck on my deck lol, I am very happy with them so far, and would buy them again. ... show more

  • Perfect fit, 2nd time around
Size: 10 Color: Navy/Razzle
The first pair I received were VERY small -- clearly not the size 10 indicated on the box or in the shoe -- but I sent those back for a replacement and the new pair (size 10) fits perfectly! Love the color, fit and tread on the sole.

  • Perfect Novice Hiking Shoe
Size: 9 Color: Mineral/Soot
Light-weight and comfortable, but still offers the traction and support to help traverse the rocky Maine trails. Because they're breathable, my feet stay warm without getting sweaty and damp. True to size.

  • Not waterproof at all
Comfortable for non wet use, nice colors, sized appropriately, but not at all waterproof as described. First day I wore them along a damp trail and damp grass, without actual rain. The front of my foot/socks inside got pretty wet. I have OBOZ ousel hikers that survived a whole rainy winter in Oregon last year, without losing waterproofing even in standing water puddles, so these Saucony were very disappointing, since I was looking for some for light jogging on the trails. ... show more

The Saucony TR16 are a nice walking shoe, comfortable and supportive. Several people have mentioned how much they like the blue color.
