I bought these shoes after reading gushing reviews about how comfortable they are, and they are comfortable but not all that special. I have a medium width, 8.5 women's shoe size and the toe box on these is a bit tight and compresses my great toe. The arch support is pretty good and the cushioning is definitely springy. The shoes are light and feel responsive. The mesh upper does stretch after a couple wearings and I'm hoping it does not continue to stretch to make the shoe fit sloppy. I'm using them as gym shoes for now (for elliptical and stair master workouts), not for running or long walks because I'm worried about the pressure on my big toe. Very good cushioning and gives you at least 2-3 inches of height! I consider this item the best shoes saucony put out in a long time. I used this shoe on vacation with a lot of walking and my feet did not hurt at all! Had to buy 2 pairs (black and blue)
