I like these shoes so far they've been very durable. They're light and I rotate them with other shoes that are a little heavier. I use these glycerin 22 GTS and a few other shoes that are none of your business the hurricane 24 which was last year's model is exactly the same as this year's model good cushioning and with the right insoles I can go further with no knee pain and no plantar fasciitis. I wear a 13 double E which is the other thing I like about this brand they carry wide in most of their models. These are great shoes and well I usually like different colors than black.     • A disappointing return for the Hurricane line

It's possible in hindsight that maybe I got a pair that was defective in some way or the wrong size mislabeled, but I was truly astonished at how radically different both the feel and construction of this shoe was from it's predecessor. The midsole is now an enormous Hoka-style cushion with a heel that's maybe a full half inch wider than the 23's and makes me feel like I'm running on snowshoes. The absolute deal-breaker for me is the way the top is constructed. The tongue is loose and, mind-bogglingly to me, seems to be designed to sit off-center. A complete no go if your gait or foot shape causes the tongue to move unless you do something like overtighten the laces - which are flat - defeating the whole purpose of the shoe's cushioning, which is what the Hurricanes are supposed to be known for. They tried doing some fancy stuff with the lace loops but the poor balance between tension and position just causes the shoe to fold in on itself near the top loops unless, again, you overtighten. Sent these back. Trying to reinvent the shoe instead of just bringing back what worked was not a good decision. ... show more
