  • The best walking shoe is a running shoe!
I walk for exercise, typically getting anywhere from as low as 7,000 upwards to 15,000+ steps per day depending on my travel schedule. I have purchased other brand shoes before, which were decent but wore out quickly. I bought these based on the great price, brand reputation for running shoes, and a handful of reviews that said these were like "walking on clouds". I have to say these so far have been the best walking shoes I've owned. I've put almost 25,000 steps on these in the last 24 hours and they are perfect -- lightweight, robust heel cushion when walking down steep declines, wide toe box for ultimate toe comfort and movement, and super all around support. Love the white with tan elements, will be great to wear for power walks and casual nights out as well. Great product, loving it! ... show more

  • My favorite running shoes from Saucony
Size: 11.5 Color: Navy/Cobalt
In contrast to the subpar Peregrine ST 13 and the Kinvara 15 GTX, these are my favorite running shoes from Saucony when its not too cold or wet outside. They are very good for training sessions, maybe not for the race events when you need a lot of energy back from the shoes. When it comes to stabilty and support they are better than the Ride series, which is also a very good running shoe. The Guide always hold up for the 620 km I am running in them before getting the next pair. I have to deal with bottom-of-the-foot pain in many shoes but not in the Guide. ... show more

  • Comfortable and supportive
Size: 10.5 Color: Flint/Shadow
I received these shoes on November 8, 2025, and have worn them on 5 walks, averaging a little over 3.5 miles per walk with a brisk pace. A little less than 20 miles. The shoes are very comfortable and provide excellent stability and cushion when walking. The sizing is accurate. I take a size 10 1/2 and these fit perfectly. I’m not a good judge of style but I doubt anyone will swoon when they see these. I can’t evaluate their long term durability yet. My expectation is they should last a year before I wear down the soles. So far I am very happy with these shoes. ... show more

  • hands down best durable and comfortable shoes you'll buy
Size: 10 Color: Flint/Shadow
Absolutely love these shoes! Over the course of the last 12 months I have purchased 6 pairs of shoes for walking. I've tried a couple different styles of NB, Brooks, Nike...My main issue is, within the first 20-30 miles of walking the tread was showing serious signs of wear. Amazon has been great about returning due to what I consider defective quality. I had never tried Saucony before these, and let me tell you. I may never buy a different brand, ever again. I've put over 100 miles on these and while there is some signs of wear on the tread. It's much more in line with expectations and nowhere near what I was experiencing with the other brands. They are comfortable as heck and I really just can't say enough good things. I will be buying another pair of these when these inevitably give out. Until then, we'll keep on keeping on. ... show more

  • Great shoes
Size: 12 Color: Navy/Cobalt
Use these for walking 20 miles per week and love them. Comfortable and stable. Durable tread that has held up well over the last 4 months.

  • Saucony Kinvaras are Excellent!
Fleet feet is an excellent in-store and online retailer. The Saucony Kinvara 2.5 is an excellent running shoe. If you look through the YouTube videos posted by runners, you will find that they are a highly rated shoe. In my experience with these brand-new shoes and only three 35 minute running sessions in winter conditions up by Lake Ontario in upstate New York, my experience with the shoes is quite promising. I came to the Kinvaras as a barefoot runner who runs in bare feet, simply with socks, and/or alternating between Xero Shoes Prios and new old stock Skechers GoBionic 2s. The Go Bionics are designed to drain on long runs in variable conditions where you might meet puddles, goopy mud, and rain while out on a long run. They are really a lovely shoe, but in the freezing cold, melted snow and water get up through the drainage holes and make your feet quite cold. And, the Prios have a low side wall, so water gets into them, as well. I decided to try the Kinvaras and I'm quite pleased. 3-4mm drop, minimal padding underfoot, nice tread-- all these make for a near minimalistic running experience. I put a 2 mm pad under the forefoot in order to compensate for the 3 mm drop. I am a forefoot striker when I run, and I'm sure the pad will help me do that. By the way, sizing was spot on. Even though the shoes are a D width, and I am an EE width measuring to 27cm, I usually go with a 10.5 shoe and in the Kinvara that size fits me well. I would recommend both Fleet Feet and most certainly the Kinvaras. ... show more

  • Nicely light shoe with good traction and solid construction
I'm a casual runner, usually running somewhere between 5K and 10K, doing between 8-9 minutes per mile. I used to run faster & farther but badly injured my left knee at one point, and only recently started to get back into running after a couple of rounds of knee rehab. The running shop I used to go to, where they would do custom fittings, was long gone and so I ended up having to buy shoes online. I'd used Saucony shoes before and had liked them, so these were already at the top of my list to research. Based on reviews various places online, I decided to take a chance on them. I'm glad I did. The shoes are nicely cushioned without any corresponding loss of "feel," so I don't have to worry about a lot of shock to my bad knee. The trail I usually run is paved with wood chips and so can be a little slick, especially if wet, but I had no problems moving forward. The inside was well-constructed with no oddly-placed seams to rub against my ankles or heels, and the arch had exactly the right support that I needed. All in all, I'm quite satisfied. ... show more
