  • Great for feet with wider toe box
Size: 7.5 Color: Black/Purple
Got these to replace my old Saucony Grid Excursions. I like that they don't pinch my toes together. Also most running shoes with fabric vamps tend to wear out across the big toenail for me, but these have that area covered with the leather material so it's less prone to wear and tear in that spot. The color is less black in person and more of a charcoal grey, but that's not a big deal. ... show more

  • Comfy & cute!
Size: 7 Wide Color: Black/Orange
These are nice hiking shoes! After my hike, I stopped by the store and felt stylish (not like when you normally wear sneakers). It seemed like people were checking me out & I was in tennies! 😂they are cute, comfy and a great price. My feet are wide and sensitive to the quality of shoes and these passed the test! ... show more

  • nice but thin materials
It is really hard to find good sneakers these days, as manufacturers have cheapened the materials to the point that the detailing materials are as thin and flimsy as child's craft felt, or vinyl. Lightweight' does not often last very long, as thinner materials are not known for durability. Mesh is as mesh does, (and can be quite 'meshy' letting in dust, dirt and moisture more readily), and does not last as long as canvas or nylon, or whatever more quality materials were formerly used. So these shoes are good looking, and well enough made - except for a few loose strings and the trend of the super thin materials/detailing. Still, they fit true to size, and are comfortable enough, and perhaps with a change of inserts the comfort might be improved. But, my friend had an older pair of Saucony women's sneakers, and a comparison showed the difference between former quality materials used, and the newer trend in cheaper materials. But it's the ongoing trend, so what is anyone to do? I gave 4 stars b/c they still look good, they fit true to size, and are comfortable enough, but I do not know how long they will last, b/c they, like many others now being made - seem more like disposable sneakers than the formerly durable, dependable and reliable sneakers which used to be available for sale. But there is barely anything available except for the super thin, lightweight, meshy, lesser quality materials being used, so that people have to purchase more frequently. These will do fine for now, b/c I could not find anything else in this price range, at least the price isn't jacked up sky high like some others, and they do look good, are well made, and adequately comfortable. ... show more

  • Best fitting/feeling shoes 6 years and counting. TR12 100% comfortable day 1.
Size: 11.5 Color: Grey/Orange
I've been wearing Saucony TR shoes daily for about 6 years. At this point I've owned at least one pair of TR7 through 12 except the TR11 (which I don't think looks too good). It started with seeing the black/orange TR7's in a store. They fit and felt great immediately and that is very rare for me. Also they looked really good for a running shoe. After that I was hooked and I now have a closet with extra TR8's 9's and 10's in it. IMO the best looking ones were the 7 and 8 and I hope they return to something similar and with the Orange/Black some day. One time I went out to quickly buy a pair of regular (not trail) running shoes so I wouldn't beat up my daily TR shoes. I purposely decided to just get another brand. I tried several on and they all felt very strange. Walking/Jogging around the store all of them were just off. I then grabbed a pair of Suacony running shoes (not sure what kind they were) and they instantly felt perfect and I picked those up. Cheaper than the other shoes I tried on too. It's rare I find shoes that feel good especially right away. A few weeks ago a pair of TR9's were wearing out so I pulled out another pair I had. They felt great at first but also needed the usual break in. A couple weeks later I decided to purchased a pair of TR12s on Amazon and put the TR9's back in the closet (for the future). I swapped over and the TR12s felt perfect immediately! This never happens with any shoe. I don't know what it is but they felt like they needed zero break in or adjustment even compared to the TR9's I had just put on. It couldn't have been better. Pros: Affordable. Comfortable. Universal (except on wet polished floors!). Very nice looking (for a running shoe). Newer versions last well. Cons : They can break down fast. Although I think the older ones were lower cost and broke faster. I think past the TR8 they seem to cost more and last much longer. It's hard to tell. But most of my break-down experiences were in the first couple years. In fact the very first pair I bought (like only 40 bucks!) my pinky toes blew out the sides! It was really bad and happened far too early (easily half the time the shoes should have lasted) but the shoes were so good/cheap I stuck with it and have not had it that bad ever since. Now usually the first thing to happen is the heel plastic breaks through and grinds on your heel and it takes a while for that to happen. Also careful on wet polished floors. They slip like crazy, as I assume other shoes like this do. Hard to buy older versions and some of them look better to me. I highly recommend trying Saucony TR line of shoes. ... show more

  • Fits great. Very comfortable. Will buy again.
I've been wearing Saucony shoes for many years. They are well made and last a good while. When shoes start wearing, my feet and legs hurt. Saucony TR series shoes last about 3 months longer than most other brands I've used before that happens.

  • Great on the Trails!
Size: 8 Wide Color: Grey
I bought an 8 wide. No need to break in. I have hiked miles in these shoes for the last year and a half and they still look good! Just got back hiking the Rocky Mountain National Park and I lasted 2 miles in my new hiking boots and put these on for the next 15 miles. The tread is not worn from all the rocks and surfaces I have gone over. I just wish they made these in a waterproof hiking boot…they are so comfortable! ... show more

  • The best fit and construction I've experienced
I've owned these for about 4 weeks. Over the years I've bought maybe 50 athletic shoes. I'm completely blown away with how good this shoe is. Since I received them, it's the main shoe I've worn running and at the gym. I'm not knowledgeable of shoe theory or shoe tech, but these feel like they support my feet where others don't. It's like the construction is solid where others aren't. Pain: 5 months ago I developed chronic pain on my left foot's outside (left) metatarsal from repetitious movements that puts pressure on this area (about halfway from heel to toe.) I experienced this with all of my shoes. The Saucony fixed it. Anyway I'm a Saucony believer. I usually buy mediums, but the lone Saucony I bought, probably in the 90s, was too narrow for me. So this time I bought the 9W which are a great for me. I cannot be happier with a shoe. ... show more
