The ‘Cohesion’ line randomly entered my life, browsing DSW a year ago i found a Cohesion12 on clearance, & i bought them simply due to how dam comfy they were. I put about 400-500 (walking) miles on them, and i’ll be keeping them for spares or if it’s bad weather, so i can keep my newer ones fresher-longer. My bought Saucony sneakers for walking as they came recommended. The first pair after a couple months ripped on the inside heal. They were very comfortable and had little wear on the outside or sole. So we thought it was a fluke and because of the comfort ordered a new pair and I purchased a pair. Again after a couple months, both mine and my wife's ripped in the same spot at the back of the heel. We contacted Saucony and they were not helpful at all. We walk nightly about 3 miles, so we are not putting excessive wear on them. We have other brands that are still in better shape then these and less expensive. It is odd that three sets of Saucony for two different people ripped in the same exact spot. Be aware if you decide to purchase Saucony's as the quality is not there anymore. ... show more

    • Too narrow-sauconys seem to have changed.

I have worn Sauconys for 20+ years. The last few years I have had to go to a wide width, and this past year, when trying to replace my worn out saucony grid cohesion shoes, I went through every make and model of sauconys and found them all too small and too narrow. The toe box seems to have shrunk, and when trying on other brands, such as ascics, I find that I don't need as big a size as with the sauconys. I finally ended up with a new balance 840 V4 running shoe, which I did also get in wide width, and am now satisfied. I won't be going back to saucony brand shoes in the forseeable future. The only thing that saved me was Amazon's free returns policy. I just don't think sauconys are made the same way anymore. Even the exact same style and size shoe seemed to be a totally different fit, and when I compared the shoes together, it seemed not to be exactly the same. I was very disappointed. ... show more

    • My first Saucony shoes. Will not be my last.

A friend recommended Saucony, he's wore them exclusively for years. I was a bit skeptical but I wanted a low-tech, basic walking / running shoe that was lightweight and well-ventilated. I got that with this pair of shoes. Extremely Lightweight. Extremely Breathable. I have very flat feet, and these don't cause pain in my arch. Based on experience, that means those that require a lot of arch support may want to look elsewhere. These aren't your high-tech $200 running shoes for an extremely serious runner. These are not trail running shoes. But if you're looking for a basic, comfortable, but affordable running / walking shoe, I feel great recommending these provided you don't require a ton of arch support. Only had them a month, but I'm a large guy who walks 20,000-32,000 steps a day and they're holding up great so far. True to size. They look great. Buy with confidence. ... show more

Very comfortable, right out of the box, very light, you almost feel bare-footed, but somehow with support. I add a decent arch support. I've been walking a lot the last few years, mostly with running shoes. I'm thinking this is an upgrade for me. However, after a few walks, I woke up with a very painful heel bruise. I'm assuming it's from the difference between how runners and walkers are designed. So, I'm stuck with them, but won't wear them again. Been a owner of Saucony shoes now for 4 years and still going. Just like my last pair i had zero issue with putting them on and walking around. Feel light as a feather. Ive never had an issue with Saucony brand shoes. plus they are always very stylish.

Bought these as I started walking again and my feet and knees were killing me. Very comfortable and seem durable. Have allowed to me walk/jog comfortably. I would have preferred a tad wider but still comfy for a big guy.
