I was not expecting a lot when I ordered these pants and when I received them and opened the package I was very skeptical they would fit. They looked like the size of a small child. I am very pleased with my purchase, these are like those magic gloves we all buy. I started to put these babies on and somehow they magically became 5 sizes larger than what I was looking at. Now for honest sizing I am 5’8 190 pounds and just now sporting a muffin top. I am use to my pants being too short because I am tall and these pants hung in there and stretched out to accommodate me and cover my ankles, so thankful for that because it’s cold outside right now. I was expecting once I got these on that there would be absolutely no breathing room and look horrendous but I was wrong. I am pleasantly surprised. I have tons of stretch left in all directions.. for reference my size is 16. I think I am rocking these pants and they are holding things in place and are actually flattering. I can pull them up and they tame my tummy but they do gradually come down but…. I have not had them slack in the crotch. I decided I needed to take them on a walk so the dog and I took them on a short adventure down the street to get the mail, don’t worry I wore a long shirt to cover my bumm. The pants past the performance test. I made it home without anyone stopping or shouting at me, it was pretty cold out but I was pretty comfortable, I didn’t have to pause to pull them up and the pocket was a super handy accessory that I was able to use for my cell phone. The pockets are deep enough when I bent down that the phone didn’t pop out or fall out. More bonus points for that! As I sit here and write this review I am rubbing my leg because the pants feel so soft and in fact I bought these pants for work but once I received them I changed my mind and decided they are not appropriate for work, but that’s just me. They have a type of seam on the side which makes them look more of a sport pant to me. The three things I do not like…1. I have to keep pulling the waist back up 2. I am having to pull the length back down. 3 They are going to be see through if you have them at full stretch. Besides all that I think I have found my new favorite walking pants though.
