Never heard of Satechi, I see they are based in California, I liked that. They have a track record -- plus they are meeting global high quality standards and certifications. To me this means that they are not cutting corners or using cheap materials where the customer wouldn't know. Using cheap materials can affect the longevity and proper charging of your devices in the long-run. This item is foldable. When folded it is 3.5" wide x 6" long x 1" deep or thick. The cord is over 3' long at 42.5" and the puck or plug is 2.25" x 2.5" x 1". The entire thing weighs 0.8 pounds. With this one purchase, I now have an uncluttered desktop charging my three Apple devices that looks fantastic -- the faux leather resting place for AirPods is a really nice touch and aids in noise reduction (placing the AirPods down, anything falling on the pad). I appears there is minimal plastic used, it's mostly metal. The top part that holds the iPhone rotates up and down for getting different angles. The phone attaches either vertical or horizontal. I use my phone constantly while I work, this charging station is heavy enough that I can use my phone (playing music, or looking up stuff) and it doesn't fall off. But I can remove my phone with one hand without the whole thing falling over. Like I said with this one purchase I have a permanent desktop charging station AND I have a great travel charging station. I love that efficiency.

Nifty little device to be able to charge all your Apple gadgets. I especially like the smaller footprint. It feels extremely well built and while it’s pricier than other charges, the functionality, build quality and portability makes up for it.

I was looking for a two-in-one charger for my new iPhone 16 Pro Max and my AirPod Pros. The Satechi charging stand would have been perfect except for one major problem - overheating. I really wanted to keep it, but the head of the charging station gets very hot, causing my phone to get hot as well. I can't imagine this being good for the phone. The Satechi charging stand is very well made and looks quite nice. It's solid, the head can be tilted. The stand can be folded flat for travel. It comes with an approximately 3 feet cable, but no adapter. I used an apple 20 watt iPhone adapter, and even swapped out the cable that came with Satechi for my iPhone 16 Pro Max's cable, but the head still got hot. I then ordered another Satechi cable to see if that would make a difference, but it did not. The charging station and my phone both got very hot. I ordered Anker's MagGo Wireless 2-in-1 Qi charging stand, also 15W fast charging, and my 16 Pro Max did not get hot. There was no issue at all. I also tried a 3rd MagSafe, 15W fast charging stand by EXW, and it did not get hot either. So the issue is Satechi.

The unit folds very compact - perfect for travel and reason why we chose 3 of these units to buy for our household. Being Qi2 standard bit more flexible than MagSafe and cheaper. Another key differentiator is that these have removable USB-C cable entry for power input, rather than fixed cable. Again, more flexible for travel and not stuck having to replace the whole unit when cable is damaged. Five stars for follow-up support by Satechi Customer Service. The unit comes with EU and UK plugs for wall charger. We needed AU/China plug and I emailed Satechi. They responded next day and offered to ship the AU/China plugs free of charge.

Very well-designed charger and high quality. Charges rapidly. My only suggestion: the charging adapter could have the cord emerge from the bottom rather than the front to allow a bedside table to sit closer to the wall outlet when the charger is plugged in.

Edit: great customer service that provided satisfactory service. Will buy again. Unfortunately it’s past the return policy time period. Took it for one trip with me to Europe. Came back and used another week then it stopped working all of sudden.

This is a must have if you are looking for an all-in-one charger …… the pic shows my phone, pods, and Ultra charging …… gravity takes care of the watch and pods ….. but the phone attaches with an audible and tactile feel as the magnet pulls it out of your hand ….. The stand has some weight to it …… it will not accidentally topple ….. it doesn’t have a proprietary power connection …… a standard USB-C to USB-C , but rather short …. I replaced mine with a 1.5m cable, and it works just fine …… I would certainly recommend or buy this again …..
