I purchased the Polk Audio Magnify II a week ago and wasn't impressed. For $499 I was expecting a little more performance than what I got. Returned it back to Best Buy and decided to go with the Samsung Q60T...WOW...and it was $100 cheaper. What a huge difference right out of the box. Install was fairly straight forward with no real complaints. It paired with my Samsung TV right away and once I made my final adjustments it was magical. I was also able to pair my phone with no issues. Movies and music soundtracks are leaps and bounds better than the Polk Audio soundbar. The test now is to see how long it last without issues. Overall I'm really pleased with this purchase.

This product is not worth the price tag. Samsung Support is sub par to be kind. Owned it 2 days and the rear speakers do not work right they are distorted. Only thing support offered was for me to return it to the seller. So i have to pack this up and ship it back for my refund.. Do not purchase this product.

As TV manufacturers strive to make their TVs thinner and thinner, the sound gets worse and worse as there is less and less room for a decent speaker in the enclosure. Thus, although the picture may be amazing, the sound is about what you'd expect from a 1960's transistor radio. So you need an external speaker, also known as: The Sound Bar. This one is excellent there really isn't any need to spend more. It was easy to install, the Blue Tooth "rear of the room speaker" connected immediately, as did the main sound bar which I positioned behind the TV. Initially, I found the sound bar (also a Blue Tooth connection) disconnected after about a minute's use and the TV reverted to its internal speakers. So I called Samsung technical help and got a human within a couple of minutes who was very helpful. All I needed to do was to re-initialize the Sound Bar. (Switch OFF the Sound Bar, press and hold the Play/Pause button on the Sound Bar's remote (center of the big round button) for about 5 secs until INIT shows in the LED display on the right side of the Sound Bar, then release. A moment later the LED read OK). I then re-connected the Sound Bar to the TV (via Blue Tooth) using the TV's settings menu (Sound). Since then the Sound Bar has worked perfectly and remained connected. The TV's remote (also a Samsung) controls the Sound Bar. A great buy, with terrific sound.
