These shoes are awesome in both looks and function. I recently walked 19000 steps each day for 3 consecutive days and did not experience foot pain or discomfort. I also received one or more compliments each day from strangers commenting” I love your shoes”. I would consider these shoes to be a mid weight shoe: not too heavy to tire you out but substantial enough to provide support. They were a great value for their price point.

Update 3-6-24 I spoke with ShopBop about these shoes and the fading of the black suede onto the white part of the shoe. They told me that I should have searched the Sam Edelman to find out how to properly care for these shoes. They said once I buy an item from them… It is my responsibility to know that there are special care directions for these shoes. There was nothing in the box that was said about Care. They suggested that I spray the suede with an to find out how to properly care for these shoes.
