So Sam Edelman is a genius, when it comes to wearable classic high heels , as Hazel is better, than most Louboutins. They are beautiful, stylish, the variety he designed is endless, and it is COMFORTABLE! Similar designs of Ralph Lauren, Nine West, Calvin Klein, Michael Kors or evening more expensive brands, are not even close in quality or comfort in my opinion to these babies. I have 16 pairs - true collector of this amazing line. I have ordered this one, for the rare powder blue/ baby blue color; a hard to find color version. Only the wide was available - last one. I risked it. Arrived very fast. Beautiful as always. Surprisingly, the wide 7 1/2 seems to be a size bigger, too. Not only wider. I have never experienced such thing, as I expected only the sides being a little more generous in size. That’s why it’s called wide ? So I guess I have to wear this with those sticky inserts in the back of the shoe to make it fit- as it is very generous and not just a bit, but about a half inch, what seems a lot. So it’s odd. Overall still amazing. Maybe my knowledge is limited about what does it mean wide vs medium.

This was the first pair of Sam Edelman heels that I’ve purchased and I love them. Sometimes a pointy-toe can feel uncomfortable but this one is roomy enough to not crunch my toes. There is ample padding inside the shoe and they don’t squeak or slip when I walk. They are true to size; I always wear an 8 with rare exceptions and this was no exception. These days it seems there’s a huge lack of quality control when ordering online or in-store, particularly from large chains. These shoes arrived in perfect condition and the merchant included a note with a brief story about their small business. Quality product and presentation, personal touch, clear instructions if there were any issues (which there wasn’t). THIS is the kind of business worth supporting.

I LOVED these shoes, but did not find them to be "wide." They fit like a normal shoe, so they were too tight. I did love the style and color; too bad they were too small. If you have normal feet, these are really pretty shoes.
