These boots are WONDERFUL! The genuine leather is very supple, and they are true to my size. My feet have felt great after wearing them all day. The value for the price is excellent. I have had tall black leather boots for over twenty years, I think, but they finally needed replacing. They have been in style year after year, a wardrobe staple in fall, winter, and early spring. My older pair had no zipper, and a zipper is so much easier to get on and off. They look great with every length of skirt, with slim jeans or leggings tucked in or with wider leg pants. I like the minimal hardware on this pair on the back of the ankle, looking great with whatever other jewelry and metals I am wearing. I prefer this heel height most of the time. They are so beautiful, just what I wanted. My big tip for expanding your ability to wear these with more skirts through the winter is fleece-lined tights!

Perfect Boots for Everyday Wear and Princess Leia Cosplay!

I bought these Sam Edelman leather boots originally for a Princess Leia cosplay (from The Return of Jedi - Endor Outfit), and they were perfect. The sleek, clean lines and quality leather gave the exact look I was going for. I got so many compliments at the convention! Beyond cosplay, these boots are incredibly comfortable and versatile. I’ve worn them with jeans and dresses, and they hold up beautifully. The fit is true to size, and the leather has just the right amount of give after a couple of wears. Highly recommend—for both Star Wars fans and fashion lovers alike.

Beautiful boot

I really like these boots. Very classy, simple riding boot. I feel like I’ll like them for a long time. I was concerned from reviews that these would be really wide. They are not. They are true to the measurement listed. They do have panels in the back should you need more width. As for sizing, thy are true to size. I am always on the fence between a 6.5 and a 7 and almost always size up in running shoes and boots but reviews said true to size so I went for it. They are great. Room for thick socks even. I usually feel like I have to compromise on something with boot purchases but these are a great price for beautiful soft black leather boots. They come beautifully packaged and feel like a real luxury.

So happy with this purchase!! These boots are real leather, look absolutely fabulous, are very comfortable, & are well made. The zippers are good quality also. I bought my usual size in Sam Edelman footwear & there is enough room to wear some socks for warmth which is great. Great boots!

Ordered twice! Ordered the regular (medium) size calves - both times I was sent the “ athletic cut” - way too BIG! I finally communicated with customer service they said “ they only have the athletic cut “ which is upsetting - I really liked the boots & they were very comfortable
