I've been wanting the Gucci loafers for a long time but couldn't pull the trigger in case they might feel uncomfortable. I have flat feet, occasional plantar fasciitis, a bunion, and the back my heel can easily get blisters - so if a pair of shoes betray me then I tend to not wear them and it becomes a waste of money. These shoes are extremely soft and stretch to accommodate my bunion. The shoes also have slight cushioning which is very unexpected for this style of shoe. They tend to be really hard and flat. These shoes are great for me to commute to work in, brunch, or stroll around the mall. Based on the other reviews, I ordered true to size which is an 8 and they fit perfectly. I expect them to stretch with time Usually with Italian style leather loafers, I've always had to order a size up. They are also very high quality, beautiful leather, and on par with other premium Italian loafers that I've purchased in the past but definitely more comfortable. Obviously they're not going to be as comfortable as a pair of hokas. But I've tried other comfort brand loafers and they always tore up the back of my heels. ... show more

So...like an idiot, I forgot to pack my sneakers on a recent trip to Lisbon. And, Lisbon is not a place you want to be without comfortable shoes if you plan on exploring the city - LOTS of hills. Lucky for me, I packed these loafers aka my absolute favorite shoes in terms of comfortable, versatility, style, etc., etc. I wore them for a majority of the trip, including the many hours my husband and I spent pushing our two year old up and down hill after hill in her stroller. Was I tired? Yes, very much so. Did my feet hurt? Not one bit - and that's saying a lot for someone who is exceptionally prone to blisters. These fit true to size. I wear a size nine in most shoes and the nine fit like a glove. They were comfortable from the first time I wore them, which is crucial since I don't have the time or patience to break in shoes. They are also super cute and affordable. I have a pair in all the basic/neutral colors available and they've held up great even with me wearing them just about daily to work, business trips (super easy to pack!), vacations, errands, etc. I can't recommend them enough especially for working mamas constantly on the go. I always love Sam Edelman, and this one was another good one. These are a really comfortable pair of flats that I can wear all day and walk around in. Quality: Bought these because Sam Edelman typically makes a very comfortable and well made shoe. They are very comfortable, but in two wears (not a full day, moderate walking on sidewalks and indoors) the heel is crumbling apart on both shoes. For $150 I expect much higher quality.
