I planned ahead and purchased these shoes for a specific event. I put them on, got in the car, walked from the car to the hotel and the rubber heel was gone. Well I was now an hour away from home at an event I had to be at with no other choice. I hobbled around all night and you could hear the nail clicking on the tile. This was this first (and only) time I have worn them. I love Sam Edelman shoes, I have had a lot of them. I am wondering if these are authentic. I know bad things happen occasionally. I tried to contact the seller but the way they have it set up in amazon just leads you around in a circle and you can’t get anywhere no matter how you try. I left the seller feedback, no response. My next attempt will be to call Amazon customer service directly. That is way too much money for not even a one time wear and the seller doesn’t care. UPDATE: I called Amazon customer service. The seller finally contacted me only after Amazon made them. They offered me a measles 30% credit, told me if I wanted a full refund I should take it up directly with Sam Edelman, but they never even gave me the credit. ... show more
