Oh WOW, I could not believe how SOFT this dress was!!! It makes it so comfortable. And it held up just fine in the wash, because I know softer fabrics can raise those concerns sometimes. It's on the thinner side, so I think it would best be worn with tights and maybe boots or booties on chilly fall days, but not cold days. I really like the color I got (coffee). I'm slightly torn on the buttons. I do think it's an interesting placement, but on my figure (more of an hourglass shape), because the dress hits my waist well, I can't tell if it looks a little off. That said, I still like the dress and look forward to wearing it out and about more as the days get a little cooler.

Unfortunately, this dress is a bit of a disappointment. I had intended this to be a good dress for transitioning from fall weather to winter weather, but I don't think it will work for colder temperatures. The material is VERY thin. This does make it nice and lightweight, and the material is super soft and not at all scratchy. Dresses like this are not intended to provide any structure or shaping to the body, and this one does not, but it makes me look like a bit of a blob. It is better when I style it with a belt and some tall boots to add a little bit of definition to my shape. I anticipate that I will wear this throughout autumn, but it will have to be retired once the colder winter weather moves in.
