I recently purchased a salon chair since I do a lot of hair at home, including my three kids and a few of my friend’s kids’. I’ve started taking on a few clients here and there. I’ve been eyeing a similar booster cushion for weeks, so I was excited to finally order this MLMTFI one — and I’m so happy I did! The booster arrived vacuum-sealed and it was easy to unpack. After letting it expand in the chair for about 48 hours, it fully filled out and looked great. The quality exceeded my expectations. The foam is dense, supportive, and much sturdier than I anticipated, with excellent rebound, I’m sure it will maintain its shape for a long time. The surface material is easy to wipe clean as well. The size is good for the salon chair. My chair has a deeper seat, so the booster sits slightly farther back, but I actually prefer that because it feels more secure and balanced rather than sitting too close to the edge. Another thing I appreciate is that the cushion doesn’t sink much in the center, even with a heavier child sitting on it, which makes it feel durable and reliable for repeated use. So far, I’ve tested it with both my toddler and older child, and they were comfortable and properly elevated for styling. I’m looking forward to using it with my first client soon. Overall, this booster cushion feels well-made, supportive, and like a great value for anyone who styles children’s hair at home or in a salon setting.

I had just started looking into some kind of booster seat for my son so he can sit comfortably at the dinner table. Before I got this, he was sitting on his knees. He never complained, but it had to be uncomfortable with your boney knees digging into a wooden chair seat. When this open became available I jumped at the opportunity. Although its intended to be used in a barbershop and salon, I use this as a booster seat. Now he can comfortably sit at the table during meal time and reach his food. The seat was delivered in a vacuum sealed bag inside an Amazon box. My son was confused initially as to why I would get that for him until I explained why and he tried it out. Now, he loves it! The booster seat seems well made, can be cleaned easily, the stitching feels like it will be lasting, and the zipper is nice. I also like the handle on the front of the seat. The zipper feels durable and has metal clasps the zip with ease. I am unsure what I will do with the booster seat when my son grows out of it, but when the time comes I'll find use or donate it. Ive very pleased with the seat and my son couldn't be happier!

This arrived vacuum packed and expanded to the exact measurements listed (18 x 13 x 6.7). It's as described and seems to be of nice quality. The zipper is hidden, and metal not plastic, the vinyl is soft, and the handle is solidly sewn on. While I am using it as a booster seat, just not in a barber shop, and not for kids: I'm using it in my own house, for my elderly father. His knees are bad and he doesn't have power to stand up so he has to sit up high & slide off our furniture. This booster is brilliant. It's given me about 3 pillow thicknesses in one. That makes it much safer (not a tower of balanced pillows) & much easier to move. The surface is also easy to wipe off given it's intended barbershop use. The only thing I don't "get" are the rolled edges where hair (and crumbs) get stuck - I know it's super minor, but even if the rolled edges look more polished I wish it were flat-edged to avoid space for things to hide. Anyway, that's a very small thing. The best part is the high density foam does not squish nearly as much as the many senior boosters I've bought (see video). Maybe it squishes 3/4 inch when I sit on it as an adult; it'd be less for a child. It's firm, but there's enough "give" that it's still comfortable, perhaps not for an all-day long seating episode, but def enough to get a haircut or eat something etc.. The part which hangs down to protect the barber chair, works for us at home too: either I tuck it in between the chair's top and bottom cushions to protect the upholstery or, in a convenient use, I flip it upside down and safety pin the long piece to the back of the chair (see photo). This way the booster is anchored and cannot slide off when he slides off. Again, brilliant. Couldn't be more convenient. I don't know why I didn't think of pursuing these for home use sooner especially because, relatively priced, it's the same or even more economical than special memory-foam senior chair cushions.

I ordered this booster cushion for my home haircut setup since I regularly cut my children's hair and was tired of stacking pillows to get them at the right height. It also came in handy for training our youngest to eat dinner with us at the dinner table. It came vacuum sealed, folded in half, and very flat. After unpacking it and allowing it to fully expand, I immediately noticed the quality. The foam is dense, supportive, and holds its shape even with 40-50 pounds on it. The size is correct but if your chair has a curved seat it will be close to 8" high. I recently used it while giving my youngest a haircut, and it worked perfectly. The extra height made it much easier to see and trim evenly, while the firm cushion kept him stable and comfortable throughout the haircut. Even my older child sat comfortably without the cushion sinking or losing support. The vinyl cover feels durable, wipes clean easily, and should hold up well to hair clippings, spills, and regular use. I also appreciate the handle, which makes it easy to move and store when not in use. The zipper is smooth and is covered by some of the material.

This Salon booster seat from kids is made from memory foam and comes vacuum sealed and packed when delivered. It does take a little bit of time to fully expand but once expanded measures approximately18 x 13 x 6.5 inches. It is much sturdier and more supportive than I was expecting. Obviously great for Salon chairs, but would also make a good booster seat at home because it's easy to wipe down, lightweight, and portable. Good quality and decent value at $32.

Right out of the bag, this booster seat expanded to 18 inches long by 13.5 inches wide by 6 inches tall. It's made with an impressively soft vinyl that's waterproof, with a firm 6 inch foam inside. This booster seat will be very easy to clean and sanitize for the next customer. Should the foam need to be replaced in 10 or 15 years, the covering has a two-way zipper to make that a simple process. A flap hangs down from the main cushion, and I see that flap as dual purpose - it'll be soft on a child's legs, and it'll protect the front edge of the chair. A carry handle is securely sewn onto one side of this booster seat, so placing, moving, and storing it will be quick and efficient. The stitching is even and strong, the price appears to be average, and the quality of this booster seat is excellent.
