This is my 3rd pair of Salomon shoes and I'm disappointed in this one. My feet were not comfortable I wanted out of them about 4hrs into my shift. Their so so.... disappointed for sure. I like the Speedcross but not these Speedcross Peak shoes. Pretty color though but comfort wasn't there and didn't feel like the Orthofit I'm used to in this brand.

These are the best light trail shoes I have ever worn. Comfortable right out of the box. Although I am no longer able to hike, the stability they provide is just what I needed.

I've been through multiple pairs of these--so sorry, Amazon!!--because I previously owned two pairs of Salomon that were great and lasted for many years! I've had issues with the Speedcross Peak with sizing (these run larger, and the toe box is narrow and long) and with quality (inserts were not cut right on one pair; on another, one shoe was noticeably more padded than the other). It's such a shame, because Salomon is usually wonderful! I have finally given up on this particular model. My understanding is that it is produced at a cheaper facility, so I'm guessing corners are cut.

I hiked the Dolomite mountains in this shoe and never had a blister or any discomfort. These are my go to shoes for all walks, hikes, climbs. I love them!
