The best. Have worn speedcross trail runners for years. Was somewhat hesitant to pay for the goretex versions thinking they’d be too warm. No issues with warmth at all. Waterproof, sturdy, breathable, and comfortable. Bit surprisingly they have that Salomon traction, fit consistently with all my other Salomon’s, and look snazzy in red. And the tread and toes don’t seem to wear as quickly as the non-goretex versions. Will absolutely buy again. ... show more

I finally got to try these shoes on a 8 hour day hike in the California Sierra Nevada up to 3000 meters and these shoes are truly outstanding in terms of comfort and fit. The toes are well protected by the front shell but the shoes never fell cumbersome or heavy. I am a casual hiker but I had no foot pain or blisters and the fit was perfect. It looks like they will last a long time. Makes me want to go for another long hike next weekend.
