I didn't read the reviews until after I had already ordered it so I was nervous about it being too small. It does run a pretty small but still fit. Mine didn't have any stains or rips in it, but it did end up ripping along the seams when I was wearing it before Halloween. It was easy to sew back up but it shouldn't have ripped that easily. The zipper doesn't lay flat which makes it very uncomfortable when you're sitting, but it isn't too noticeable when you're standing. The back of the dress is solid purple and is very sheer. It is also shorter than it looks in the picture. I'm 5'7" and it barely covered my butt and I don't have a long torso. The sleeves that come with it are also very short and only came halfway up my wrist. I sewed on a pair of blue footless tights to use as sleeves instead and just used fabric paint to draw stitches on it. I didn't use the wig since I have long hair but it could definitely use more yarn. The dress itself is very cute and I got a lot of compliments on it by random strangers on Halloween. Overall I really like the dress, I just wish it was higher quality for the price I paid for it and that the accessories were a little better.

It’s a cute costume, I really like the detailing on the front. I feel like it’s more flattering than a lot of other Sally costumes I’ve seen. It’s pretty feminine and the gloves are stretchy and cute. Honestly, it does run small though. I’m a 6-8 depending on brand (5’7) and I ordered the 12-14. Glad I did, because I’m not super curvy (pretty lean, but a booty) and it’s still pretty form fitting. And short. I think a size down would have been way too tiny height wise to wear comfortably (and I’m not a super modest person either). I’d totally buy it again though, I think it’s going to be perfect and the quality is definitely there. The wig is garbage, but I bought a super pretty red lace front and bam, pumpkin queen who dis? =D

Loved the fit of the dress. I would say it isnt true to size but I knew that when I ordered it. Costumes usually run small. I normally wear a 10 or Medium but the one I ordered was a 12/14 Large. The only thing that isn't flattering is the wig. I will continue to fiddle with it to try to get it right if not spray my hair red.

Received my costume yesterday and let me tell you. it's so much more than I expected. The costume is silky and very flattering. I'm 5'2 150 pounds and purchased L. It fits me great, just a little short on the back bottom part, buy its still great. would definitely recommend. it's true to size. Wig is included: it's made of yarn and it's. ot flattering

The costume was cute the gloves fit pretty well and the dress itself was very nice my biggest complaint was that the dress overall was tight. I am grateful for the stretchy fabric which allowed me to still wear it and be comfortable so I would recommend ordering larger than your size. another pet peeve was the amount of glitter coming off of the dress on to my skin and when I took the dress off all of the residual black glitter . Another reason I gave it a three was for the wig it was awful it was a few pieces of yarn barely could cover my head and didn't look right and not to mention all of the glitter that kept coming off of it everywhere and the strands of yarn that also fell out.

Nice dress. The included wig is horrible so plan on purchasing a secondary wig. Skirt is somewhat short/rides up in the rear so prepare to wear nylons, especially if at a work function. Warning on buying the Sally nylons for this - go to the store vs. online. The version I got was made for a girl 4 foot tall or less. I believe they might be selling Asian sizes for the nylons on Amazon.com. Price on Amazon for this dress was considerably cheaper than local Halloween stores. Large is size US 8-10

This is an adorable costume and made extremely well. The dress has a cute shape and good material. I love the patchwork and especially the sequins! It does seem to run just a little small like the other reviewers said so I ordered a size bigger. I really like that the dress has a zipper in the back unlike other costumes that just have the Velcro dots in the back to hold it closed, I think that helps make the dress fit better on the shoulders. I'm happy with my purchase and can't wait to for Halloween.
