This was a gift for my 7 year old's birthday. The height is more suited for my 4 year old who uses it for all sorts of fun and hanging and even jumping and swinging from the couch. On the highest setting my 7 year old can still hang and swing below it and on the lower settings she loves to do tricks. This bar was given to me for my birthday, I absolutely love this bar! It's perfect for tall kids as well! I'm really tall for my age and I can only use this at the 2 tallest settings, unless I'm practicing drills. The only downside is the bar is metal, as displayed in pictures. The bar itself is thinner than the bars at their actual gymnastics gym, but this is stable enough for them to practice at home. I purchased this for my kids to practice gymnastics in between gym sessions. The bar was straightforward to assemble with detailed instructions. Very well constructed; my only issue is that it tends to move and jostle when the kids get moving on it, causing forward/backward motion.
