  • Looks great, easy to use, easy to reset if you’ve made a mistake
Size: 17.3" x 393" Color: Black and Gold
If you just want to know if it’s worth the money, no need to read the rest of my paragraphs, those are for people curious of how I installed it. It’s very much worth the money. It looks gorgeous! I included photos, the before, the after, and the picture of the wall half covered is how much the largest roll covers on an 8 foot wall. It actually covers more, but to have the pattern match, you’ll waste several inches on every run. Also it will get finger prints on it. Just FYI. It’s a bit shiny so they’ll show up. But with a damp rag they come off. I inherited a hoarder house, it’s been a PROCESS to make it livable. But after finally getting things cleared out and cleaned up, it was time to start the remodel, and I figured the entryway was the best place to begin. I found this wallpaper on aN.A. on and it’s beautiful but I do have some thoughts and tips for anyone buying. Here are some things I would suggest using that will make this process easier and safer: I used a Werner folding aluminum scaffold. If you’re going floor to ceiling, or anywhere high up, this is a must. I found mine used on Facebook marketplace for $40, however they’re sold at Home Depot and online for about $100. They have a high weight limit and it’s about 3 feet long which allows me to walk side to side on it with some stability instead of using a step stool, I’m 300 pounds and step stools don’t cut it for me. I would suggest using a ceramic blade box cutter. I used a box cutter with a carbide blade, and while it worked great, it worked TOO great and there’s some areas where as I was trimming off excess (because of course the edge of my wall isn’t straight) I actually cut through paint and sheet rock. Quickly. A ceramic blade is still sharp but a good bit more gentle. If you’re in a rental, this might be a good option for you so you don’t create damage you’ll have to pay for later. I thought one large roll would do the trick, but on an 8’ wall you will have a lot of waste to match the design up. Which meant I had to cut 6-8 inches off of every end to match the wall paper on the next run. I did include a photo (the 3rd photo) of how much the largest roll will cover. I did end up buying a second roll which came the next day. It was a perfect match, no issue in design, it lined up perfectly. While I did use a razor and a straight edge, the back has a grid which makes cutting it straight much easier. I let the wallpaper roll all the way to the ground, lined up the right edge with the design on the left edge of the previously installed wall paper, then held the slack at the edge of the ceiling and cut about an inch long cut horizontally (parallel with the ceiling) at the ceiling, then brought it down to my scaffold and took my straight edge (a long ruler works as well, anything straight that’s about 24 inches long or so works), located the horizontal cut I had made, lined it up and cut across with my box cutter. Scissors will work as well, I have popcorn ceilings, those ceilings have asbestos, and I’m not made of money. So my lines up top weren’t perfect. I made sure when I had the rough amount needed that the right edge of the roll as it was sitting on the floor was even with the left edge of the last run of wall paper. This makes it easier to keep it lined up all the way down. As it’s not being slightly pulled to the left or right. I then started by peeling the back off about 8 inches from the end, stuck it up on the wall at the top, made sure it aligned, smoothed it on with my hand, careful to make sure that the lines were lined up, held one hand against the paper and began to peel the backing off from behind slowly to make sure I didn’t go off track. Once enough of it stuck to where it didn’t feel like it was going to tug off, I could start peeling with both hands from each side of the wallpaper. Stopping regularly to smooth it down against the wall for it to adhere. It easily peels back off if you’ve made a mistake, and it sticks down just as firmly as it did before. I wouldn’t say it’s idiot proof, but it certainly allows you to learn how to do it without destroying your wall or the wallpaper itself if you made a mistake. Once I got about 3/4 of the way down the wall, of course the backing paper is everywhere so I trim it off, then continue to peel the rest of the backing down to the bottom of the wall. At the baseboard I was pushing the paper against it, molding it against the baseboard seam where it lines up to the wall, it’s thin enough to just use your finger nail to run at the seam of the baseboard and the wall to cut through the paper. Remember, there’s a few inches that will be wasted, so you can have your cut straight with the baseboard (which in some old homes like mine ISN'T straight) and not have to worry if the cut will cause the next strip to be wonky at the ceiling. Now, if you’re like me, it’s not going to be perfect. It’s not going to be totally professional. My issue was at some of the seams, there’s still white showing. A tiny tiny bit of the wall behind showing between the seams. And it’s noticeable because I bought black wallpaper. My solution was a sharpie. Just coloring in the seams did the trick. It blends it well enough that you can’t tell, even standing up against it that it’s there. Now, there is some glue you can use sold on here if it’s not adhering well, I will be using it in the future, I didn’t use it at the time because I’ve never hung wallpaper before and lord knows I knew I would screw it up! Since I live in Texas and it’s humid, and my walls are shifting from the drought constantly, I know this wall paper is gonna come down eventually on its own if I don’t apply the glue. But for the time being, I just wanted mine to look better. I always hated the wallpaper it had in it. It was old, dry, nicotine stained from being chain smoked in by multiple people for 40+ years, and clawed at by cats. ... show more

  • Good product, no issues here!
Size: 17.3" x 590" Color: White and Black
So far so good! I was worried once I saw the reviews for this, but it's been about two weeks and it looks great. Adhesion seems to be great and it was easy to stick/peel/move. The only peeve I have is that it is impossible to match the image exactly right. It's very unnoticeable, but if that bothers you be aware! The paper itself is nice and thick, but be careful taking the back off, it rips easily and can get messy. Hoping this holds up for awhile! ... show more

  • Not worth it
Size: 17.3" x 590" Color: Black and Gold
So trying to get a refund! I love the design it was easy to put up. Lasted a couple of hours, same night i put it up as i was sleeping i felt the paper fall on me. i got up and tried to place it back and had to pin it for it to stay up. At that point most panels were in place. Next day, got off work and second picture is to what i arrived home to. Not worth the money i was gonna place another order to finish my wall but the adhesion is awful. Does not last more than 24 hours. i’m so disappointed ... show more

  • Beautiful, thick & easy to put up!
Size: 17.3" x 393" Color: White and Gold
UPDATE: It’s been about 5 months since we put the wallpaper up & it’s still just as fabulous! No peeling, no separated seams (though I did overlap) & I am still in love with this room :) This was my first time ever doing wallpaper, so needless to say I was sufficiently nervous! After trying out 20 different paint colors that I didn’t like I decided I would give the wallpaper a go. I’m so happy I did because everything came out BEAUTIFUL! The paper was thick and easily adhered to the wall, and was able to adjust to keep my lines straight. I will say that with any wallpaper you need to cut according to the pattern repeat, so you’ll definitely have excess so you need to buy more than just length times width. Also the way the pattern is done, and the suggestion of overlapping by about 1/4” or so in case of shrinkage, it doesn’t line up exact but I’m okay with that. I love the way it turned out! Took my old brown/beige bathroom to bright & light! Definitely recommend! ... show more

  • Scuffs easily, but very pretty
Size: 17.3" x 393" Color: Dark Blue and Gold
I orderes this paper to use on the inset panels of my kitchen cabinets. I chose the dark blue and gold. The paper is very thick and seems durable, and I had no problem getting it on and smoothing it. However, I noticed scuff marks appeared very easily before I got all the doors hung back up. My husband managed to scuff two of them just by rubbing his thumb over the textureed surface. These obviously won't last forever, but the overall effect is pleasing. And because the color is on top of the paper and not part of it, you can see the seams where I had to use multiple pieces as the width of the cabinet was wider than the roll. It's a thin white line I can see no matter if I ran it horizontally or vertically. If course, I'm the only person looking that closely so it doesn't really matter. I considered using this in the entryway, too, but my dogs would scuff it up. It's not made for high use areas. ... show more

  • Looks like the picture!
Size: 17.3" x 118" Color: Dark Blue and Gold
I was very excited to find this wallpaper and when it arrived it was everything I hoped for. Very easy to put up, the match up was a little tricky but it didn't rip, seems water resistant and is a great value for the money.

  • This really is gorgeous!
Size: 17.3" x 196" Color: White and Gold
I bought this to use as a background in a china cabinet that I was refinishing. I recently inherited my grandmother's China and wanted it to really stand out. This wallpaper did the trick. It was easy to apply, easy to align, and easy to fix if mistakes were made. If any wrinkles occurred they were simple to smooth out, and it is durable as it as has held up to re-application and cleaning. Would but it again! ... show more

  • Okay, but not great
Size: 17.3" x 196" Color: White and Gold
It is pretty and feels okay, but width of the pattern was not the same between two rolls, so there was not lining it up unless you wanted to cut the wallpaper length wise as well. Additionally, one of my rolls had a split in the middle of it and the other roll had red markings on it in the middle. Plan to buy extra for these errors. ... show more
