Those are wonderful rugs! I bought a smaller one and decided I wanted it bigger. The small one got snatched away by my parter immediately :) I wanted it as fluffy as possible and brushed it with a slicker brush. Its fabulous. You will loose the shinyness and the pattern a bit but it will be so volumunous and soft! And I had ZERO shedding, which I found very impressive. Colors are very similar. The white and grey Areas are the same on the gold and blue version. The Gold has some dark grey threads and the blue one has some light grey threads. ... show more

I am really pleased with this rug! I ordered the gray and white one in the 9’ length for my gray, silver and white bathroom vanity area. It came a bit squashed and curled, but overnight it laid flat. For the price, it has exceeded my expectations. I have it laid over a rubber/waffle mat, not a felt one, and it hasn’t slipped at all. The pile is thick and high with some dimension-the different shades are of different heights giving it almost a sculptural look. The yarn is of high quality-no surface fuzz and my footsteps don’t flatten it. It looks great and I am sure will last for years. ... show more

We bought this runner for my husband's bedroo. He he has a standing desk in his room, so he wanted something fluffy to stand on. The quality is excellent, however I will warn you that there is a pungent off-gassing smell that lasts a few days. They also treat the fabric fibers with some sort of preservative or fire retardant that we didn't like the texture of so we had to do some hand washing with a very wet towel to get some of the stiffness out of the fibers. I'm pretty sure that washing it down with a wet towel also helped remove some of the chemical odor smell. Otherwise, it looks beautiful in our home and we love it now that it is broken in. It is very thick, sturdy, high quality, and tough. It doesn't feel cheap or fragile or thin whatsoever. The fibers are high quality. I will mention however, it might not be obvious in the photos, but this Runner carpet comes with different lengths of fibers to create that pattern in the pictures. If you want something that is all one length, do not buy this. We didn't know this at first but we have gotten used to it and enjoy the unique texture. ... show more

Better than I expected! I love this carpet. I bought the taupe & blue one. I could not find just the right colors anywhere for my living room, and this rug surprised me. The pictures did not look blue at all to me so I took a chance that it was cream, dark brown, and light brown with maybe grey. Well, that is exactly what I got (I thought). The more I looked at it, the more the grey had a blue hue in it, which is perfect! The quality is great! The 3 dimensional design looks luxurious! and the rug itself looks like a river flowing through some rocks. It goes great with my river throw pillows! It is my favorite rug in the entire house and I bought six different ones (for different rooms) from different sites. Now, I just have to find somewhere that I can buy this same rug in a 5 ft. x 7 ft. for another room. When I first opemed up the roll of carpet, I laid it face down on the floor for 24 hours to flatten it. Then, flipped it over, vacuumed it, and put it in place. It is still a little bumpy, but I think that is because of the high/low dimensions of the carpet. I think it will settle more as time goes on. ... show more

These rugs are gorgeous. Things for the fence riders to know: you need a rug gripper of some kind as this rug will move unless you have furniture on top of it. Also the pile is kind of sculpted; they have high and low spots. Those things being said, they are absolutely gorgeous. The colors are better than pictured, and I love feeling these under my feet. Our German shepherd and cats appreciates them too. At some point, I will order the big rug. Buy it, you won’t be sorry! ... show more
