These where shipped rolled up, so I laid them flat and set a board with some heavy items on them for about a week. They flattened right out and stayed flat. I installed these on our wooden porch steps and they adhered just fine. You have to go slow and make sure to apply even pressure and flatten them out as you go. I do have a few spots that have "bubbles" where the screw holes are, I should had filled them with wood putty, but that is my fault. So far they are staying put, lets see how winter treats them. My only complaint, not that it really is a complaint, is that some of them was hard to take off the backing, but it was just a minor inconvenience, not really a big deal

I painted our steps and bought these strips to keep it safe for my 91-year-old father. Be careful you have them flush with whatever you are putting them on, I had a wrinkle in two little spots, and they didn't stick, going to super glue them, but that was my fault, I love that they glow in the dark, makes the steps easier to see at night, overall, a good product!

I bought these because we spend a lot of time on our patio. My husband is visually impaired and our steps leading to our patio are not well lit. I wasn’t hoping that the glow in the dark stripe on the tread would be more visible than it is. The stairs are in bright sun all day but the stripe really is not well seen at night. I do like that that it increases the grip on the stairs but the adhesion is starting to loosen and I’m afraid they will not hold out long term. I would not purchase these again.
