The media could not be loaded. I just got these roller skates for my youngest sister in law, for her birthday coming up next weekend. She's always going to the roller skating rink with her friends, and ends up renting her skates there. I thought that buying her own pair would also allow her the freedom to roller skate anywhere! We have so many nice paved trails and beautiful parks around our area that would be perfect for her and her friends to skate around together. I picked out the purple and blue pair (her two favorite colors) and they are so beautiful! They also come with two different colored laces so that you can choose what you like the most or switch them up after you get bored of one color. My favorite part has to be the light up wheels! This is a great gift for anyone who loves roller skating or even just wants to learn how to roller skate. They are well made, supportive, great design, and beautiful too! The media could not be loaded. One of things my niece asked for for Christmas was a pair of roller skates. She has rollerblades but says she wants to be “retro” plus there is a cool roller rink by us. I found this pair where the wheels light up as you skate which is super cool. There are a few color options but I chose the purple and teal and I know she’s not a fan of pink. These are nice and glossy almost like patent leather and come with an extra set of strings. These roller skates are great as i just started skating again. It’s fun that the wheels light up so the kids love to see that lol. The ride is pretty good but not as smooth as I remember when I was a kid. I know depending on the wheels (and quality) will determine how smooth the ride is. I think this is pretty good for beginners but it’s definitely not the smoothest ride. But again, it works fine. If I decide to become a more advanced skater again then I would invest in a more high end roller skate. ... show more

Ooooooooo….let me tell you. We went to the skating rink with my son’s school. I know I was THEE cutest parent out there. These skates are durable, sturdy and just beautiful. I am absolutely in love with these skates! The colors are bright and vibrant and the light up wheels make me feel like a kid again. I haven't had the chance to test them outside yet because the weather hasn't been conducive, but I'll skate around my house in the meantime until the weather changes. 😂 The only recommendation I would give is more size options, like size 10 and above.
