I've assembled dozens and dozens of IKEA furniture for myself and others, and this piece was almost identical in assembly. I loved that it had little stickers on each piece and on the packages of hardware, which I found very helpful. It is a solid and attractive cabinet, but it took two of us to put it up on the wall, as it is quite heavy. Because of its weight, my husband found the stud and drilled an extra hole into the back of the cabinet at the top to insure it wouldn't pull out of the wall. I wasn't thrilled with that extra hole but agreed that it needed to be attached in a couple of places into a stud. Same for the bottom attachment that the medicine cabinet just sits on, even though it wasn't evenly spaced. My only disappointment is that it's not white, which I might have missed in the description. It is definitely more of a cream and doesn't match my newly-constructed white master closet where I put this cabinet. ... show more

This cabinet is made well and fairly easy to assemble. Just be sure to have someone help you as it isn't easy to hold up and screw it into the wall stud (which I suggest you do for one of the sides at least. The screw inserts for Sheetrock are lousy and they don't grab the sheetrock very. You could find yourself turning and turning the screwdriver and not securing the cabinet to the wall. You might consider hiring a handyman to put in a cross member stud to ensure that the cabinet is safely screwed on the wall. ... show more

We have a tiny laundry room and I needed something to store our laundry essentials in and this did the job. It’s a little small, but is able to hold two large boxes of dryer sheets in the top left shelf and stain remover bottles on the lower left shelf. On the right side I haven’t put the adjustable shelf in yet and am able to fit a small bottle of fabric softener and medium sized bottle of liquid detergent with a little room to put something short above it once I put the shelf in (if I decide to). It was fairly easy to put together by myself although the instructions were a little hard to understand as they only showed pictures of each step. Delivery was fast and undamaged.
